Christopher Walken serenaded the Harvard audience in drag as he was awarded this year's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award. Alas, the blue pumps that were part of his costume wouldn't fit, so he had to dance in his regular dress shoes. :D

dien: Help! Walken's Star?

Help, fellow Walkenites!

I'm making a pilgrimage to Los Angeles tomorrow, and I thought while I was there I'd visit the Walk of Fame and Christopher Walken's Hollywood star. (Kinda like Mecca and the black stone...)

However, I am baffled in that the star, well, doesn't seem to exist.

I've read numerous online biographies of Walken that clearly state he received a star on the Walk on October 8, 2004 (the same day he did the feet and handprints at Mann's Chinese theatre), but when I look at those websites that specifically list the Walk of Fame actors and the locations of their stars? Walken is nowhere to be found.

Are there any other fans who have, perhaps, been to the Walk and seen whether or not Chris's star actually does exist? If so, do you know where it's at? I don't mind looking a little, but with nearly 2500 other stars there I also would like to know where to look.

My growing theory is that the biographies are wrong and that, while Chris did get his prints in at Mann's, he didn't actually do a star. If anyone knows one way or the other, let me know! Sooner the better. ;)
