Strange experiment- shot with a Sony EVF looking through a Canon D-SLR.
I'm thinking of putting together a kind of photographers party at the Castle of Chaos this Halloween season. Anyone interested?

I was reading about Saltair and found this:
Other relics of the age of the Great Salt Lake resorts are nearby, and can be seen from the highway. The most noticeable of these is the skeleton of an old rail car, which sits beside the ruins of an old powerhouse which once fed lights and roller coasters. Rows of pilings snake outward toward the lake, all that remains of the railway trestle and pier which once led to the earlier Saltair resort. The surviving buildings of Lake Park, one of Saltair's neighbors, were moved to a new site thirty miles away, where the Lagoon Amusement Park has grown around them.
The part that interests me is the rail car. Has anyone been out there and can tell me how to find this thing?

Tree of Utah, AKA Metaphor. I see this weird sculpture off I80 on the salt flats every time I drive between California and Provo, so I finally decided to stop and get a picture.

09:39 pm - it's not so gloomy above seattle skies.
we met through some mutual friends, in the music scene [SLC/rexburg] and became more acquainted via internet/telephone.. i was living in utah, and he was going to school in idaho.. he moved back home for the summer [WA, seattle area] and i decided to move back to so.CA for the summer [where i was raised].. we kept in touch and fell madly for eachother. but we were 17 hours away from eachother... so i packed my bags, and flew to washington to spend 5 days with him...
these photographs were taken early july, 2006 sometime after the 4th.. [which we spent together] flying back to so. CA. i was torn apart, leaving him.... but luckily i got some beautiful shots of the tops of seattle clouds!
oh, and we are now- getting married in a few months!!

ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!
The Sisters of No Mercy are looking for a photographer to do their upcomming team shoot. They wont be skating, so it will be still models (dont need that stuff for fast paced things) And would be outside, and inside. As the team requires a team shot, and individual pics of each team member.
This can be a paid shoot, or trade. Depends on what your looking for, since the team is part of the Salt City Derby Girls League, team sponsorship is available for negotiations.

these were some of my favorite "non people" photos i took this summer. i have never posted my work before... tell me what you think. [these photographs are far from what i usually like to shoot, but i just thought these were nice.. and refreshing from what i usually do.] input/criticism etc. please?
