Patriotic Americans Boycotting Anti-American Hollywood
they crack me up. i mean, it has to be a joke.... right?

an example of one of their campaign letters:

From: American Patriot (americanpatriot2004@yahoo.com)
In the past few months a band by the name of Skinny Puppy has slandered Bush. At several of their concerts over the Summer they have simulated an assassination of the president. On their current Fall tour they simulated a beheading similar to the ones happening in Iraq. When the vocalist pulls off their hoods he reveals the terrorists to be Bush and Cheney. This is unacceptable and I encourage you not to play their latest record, The Greater Wrong of the Right, that has been indicated by their record label as being played on your station. Conservatives are currently a majority of the populace now and we have voted into power a majority in every level of government. The people of this country have the power as evident by our boycott of the Reagan miniseries, the Superbowl, and the Dixie Chicks. If you still choose to play their music we have the ability to put financial pressure on your station through boycotts. Please remove Skinny Puppy from rotation or we will have no choice but to boycott your station.

you know what i think would be brilliant? if liberal musicians/tv shows etc boycotted them. banned their music or tv shows from being shown down in the red states. that'd show them who was boss.

They boycotted the Super Bowl? Wow. Even this idiot doesn't know what they actually took their heads out of their asses to boycott.

Pro Bowl. Not Super Bowl.

Oh, man. See, I owe you an apology. I saw this and was inwardly cringing at your spelling.

Until I clicked the link and got the same message, spelled and punctuated the same way.

Oy.

yeah, i was trying to decipher that message for a while... (it would thrill me to pieces if they have some conservative anti-liberal firewall-y system setup and it was created by one of their illiterate spawn)

maybe they've boycotted livejournal? you know, all that crazy free speech stuff that goes on here. never know what free-thinking that might lead to.

No, that would just piss off the few sane people that live in those red states! We don't need any more reason to abandon our home states than we already have, thankyouverymuch.

This whole site is insane. They've got an article asking people to rally behind getting the 22nd Ammendment repealed so Bush can run again in 2008.

???

It wouldn't matter. The restrictions on a President's term are set when he enters office. If an Amendment was added that changed the term limits on the office of the President, it would enter effect with the next President after the ratification of the Amendment. In other words, Bush gets four more years, and that's it.

Skinny Puppy have a new album? Yay. Also, last time I checked, they were Canadian. I might be wrong though.

Hahahaha, I got the same message. I had to sit back and chuckle at that for a bit. I searched for the site under google, then finally got on the "real page" - oh, man. It's now on my favorites in the Humor folder.

I think my favorite bit is this: Why on earth is there a term-limit for the highest and most important office in the land where there is no other such limit where other offices are concerned.

Punction aside...I think it might be because we were trying NOT to have a monarchy...

Yeah... right. Idiots.

The next Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay wankfest picture will draw every single one of those assholes. Joke's on you, conservative low-brow masses!

And conservatives won't be attending Skinny Puppy concerts or buying their albums?! Oh my god! Whatever will the goth/industrial scene do without it's teeming masses of conservatives that love and enjoy our music?! We're doomed I tell you! DOOOOOMED!!

......... before, you know, when the conservatives would try and boycott things or have petitions, I was very vocal in mocking them for thinking they could actually do anything. "no one cares about you," I'd tell them, "people laugh at you."

... now this whole 'majority' thing is going to their head.

they're pretending to be arrogant, you see.

I can't stop clicking on that link. It's just too hilarious to pass up. hahahaha
I'm so sick of this censorship b.s. We are so upset when we see "the enemy" censoring oppositional thought or expression but we can't tolerate it in our own country. I think it's just time that nobody is truly better than the other - we all do good & bad things (To varying degrees, of course - I'm not here saying Americans find it fun to go into crowds & blow themselves up). It's called being human. Those who hold themselves up & think they're better than everyone else usually are those who have more to hide. I'm sick of it all. lol Sorry for the rant.
