| [ | mood |
| | excited | ] | Yes, folks, it's time to announce the winner of the latest challenge. So, without further ado, here's the caption that clinched it:

What do you mean, hair police?
Kindly take a bow, then ---
abstractrx!!
Congratulations!
Here's your Golden Capri -
I've checked with probodie and she assures me that she's taken good care of it over the past two weeks. Mind you, she did say that her big end had gone, but I don't think that she was talking about the Capri...
Thanks to everyone who took part in the Challenge - a new one will be up and running soon! |

As most of us probably know, Martin Shaw was injured in a mugging when he was 22 years old.
More about Martin's saggy folds. |

It's in an interview with him and Marshall Lancaster on BBC Breakfast from May 6th and it's about 4:26 in where the perm is brought up and he says "Well I kinda went for The Professionals look, a cross between Bodie & Doyle without the looks or the physique." *aw bless* *g*

| Missing scenes? |
[May. 12th, 2008|04:58 pm] |
I love reading missing scenes/epilogues to the episodes! It's one of my favorite genres in fanfiction. Is there a list out somewhere that makes it possible to find stories that fit the bill? I looked for missing scenes as a category in the circuitarchive search engine, but no luck. Typing it in the notes didn't get any results, either.
Any recs or advice would be lovely! (And I hope something like this is okay to be posted in this community!) |

| Ficlets by Draycevixen |
[May. 12th, 2008|02:23 pm] |
Title: Four little floozies Author: Draycevixen Format: Ficlets. Circuit Archive: Yes, if you archive this kind of thing. Pros Lib: Yes, if you archive this kind of thing. Slash/Gene: Slash. Warnings: A little adult language and bad todger jokes. Disclaimer: Alas, all rumours to the contrary, the lovely lads are not chained up in my broom cupboard. A/N: I have a bad habit of typing spontaneous little ficlets straight into comment windows at friend’s LJs, as a sort of response to their posts. The recent unfortunate recipient has been schnuffi. andreathelion suggested I post them here, although I doubt if they’re very funny out of context.

| Global Pros Watch: Rogue: TWoP Style Recap |
[May. 12th, 2008|06:28 am] |
A bit late, and not my first time watching the episode, as this episode is listed as the last one of series 1 in the DVD boxset, but here is my Television Without Pity-style recap of Rogue, done on my second watching of the episode:

| Rogue - to prove it once and for all... |
[May. 12th, 2008|11:54 am] |
| [ | mood |
| | grumpy | ] | ... Bodie did NOT drop his gun! It's still in the holster when he puts it on. He drops Doyle's gun and holster. Doyle picks it up and puts it on. I re-watched twice - in slow motion. Cause I thought I was nuts as everybody else seems to see something different from what I see. I'm NOT nuts - take a close look:

| The Great Global Pros Watch: Rogue |
[May. 11th, 2008|11:24 pm] |
This is a repost from my LJ of May 2007
This has so many fine shallow moments. If I hadn't been shallow before this episode, then it would have created it in me. . . .cause all my shallow needs are met with this *g*

| "The devil I didn't know quite well enough." |
[May. 12th, 2008|06:09 am] |
The episode where Doyle and Bodie hold hands, wear the tightest trousers known to man, and where some blowhard called Barry Martin gets to kiss Mrs Billy Connolly and better the pair of them. Oh, and something involving traitors and model ships in the office of a plutocrat goes on in the background as a plot..
