*timid smile* Hello!
I'm new to this whole thing, not slash, I've been a slasher for awhile....!
No I mean I'm new to the Stewbert, and what can I say, I'm hooked!
I'm from England so find it difficult to get stuff over here, no Colbert Report on TV here, but the internet is a great tool and means I can get all the beautiful Jon/Stephen and clips from the Colbert Report!
BUT I'm having a little bit of trouble, and I was wondering if anybody could help me out, and you lot seem like such nice people that I got myself together and used all my courage to post (please don't hurt me...)...
I was wondering if anybody could give me some slashy video clips? I've seen tantalizing snippets of the infamous pizza sketch in all the fanvids on youtube, but I can't find the original anywhere...and I know its not on the website because it was an extra(?)...any others that you guys might know off? If you could just give me the dates (or even just the year!), I'll happily go off searching for them on the daily show website! There are another 4 I noticed from '8th World wonder' the fanvid(which is currently on constantly in the background lol!) that I don't know where to start looking for the originals, one where Stephen is sat on the floor in front of the screen with john at the desk the logo says indecision 2004 but I can't find it anywhere! Another is of Stephen licking the desk in front of Jon??! The third is just before the chorus comes in for the first time and they both crack up while doing the toss (is that the right term?! I've picked that up from you guys!), the check in with the colbert report bit, and the fourth is a bit where Stephen holds up a sign saying 'Thanks Jon That's sweet' or something like that! Anything that has remote jon/stephen in it will make my day 10x better so thank you in advance!
I'm fully aware of my newbie status and well understand if you don't want to let me in yet...but one day I might come bearing fics myself...but first I need to do research! So please help!

This is a long shot - I know it.
Does anyone know of a Jon/Stephen fic - it's kind of angsty - where they are living together (but not as a couple) ... and Stephen would only play the guitar and sing while Jon was in the shower? And then Jon would end up touching himself in the shower while listening to his voice.
I can't remember the author, title or anything else really, but it was very well written ... anyone know what I'm talking about? |

Just wanted to let you know that John Oliver (The Daily Show), Dave Hill, and Rob Lathan will be appearing at a benefit concert in Brooklyn this Friday, May 16th (aka... tomorrow night). All proceeds go to AIDS Walk NY. I'm a huge fan, and am part of the group organizing the show. There are just a few tickets left so I want to make sure that all the fans know about it before it sells out. Please come out & tell your friends.

Hey, guys. I know this is pretty random, but I was browsing old Daily Show episodes tonight and I had to share this clip. I've been in the fandom for a while and had never seen it before, so I thought perhaps it wasn't very widely known.
Comedy Central's summary: "Stephen Colbert announces that "Another World," America's most beloved daytime drama, is being forced off the air, and there is nothing anyone can do about it."
I love seeing Stephen and Jon from 1999 - Jon, especially, looks totally different. This clip proves two things to me: that Stephen was always comedy gold and that their slashy bond has been around for a long, long time.

Start your fan fiction! Jon Stewart got out of a car and walked past me into the studio while I was in line today (I didn't get in but got a VIP ticket for another show) and he said in a whispered voice, "Colbert's in that car!"
I did go to The Daily Show last week and before the pass-off where Jon and Stephen talk via satellite they were talking about getting together to collaborate on something "next week"....so this must have been the day they did it.

I don't know who caught this, but at the end of the Daily Show last night, Stephen was talking to Jon about ending the "us" between them. XD He was talking about blogs he read about Jon/Stephen. Colbert was just like, "I can't be seen with an association with you anymore." I think I started crying from laughing so much. |
