L.I.M.S. Challenge #1 - Johnny Depp - Round 1 [ December 7th, 2005 - 4:38pm] slicingxmod For those of you who don't know LIMS is: Last Icon Maker Standing Basically, you enter your icons - and then when voting begins - instead of voting for your top 3, you vote for the 3 you like the LEAST. Whoever gets the highest amount of votes is out of the LIMS challenge and cannot continue onto the next round. Based on how many entries we recieve for the first round - I might only have you vote for 2, or maybe even 1 to be ejected from the LIMS. Also, I might allow people into the second round that did not enter the first. We'll see. Challenge #2 Reminder [ December 1st, 2005 - 12:27pm] slicingxmod This is your reminder to enter Challenge #2! Additionally, we haven't gotten many entries for it - so to the users that have already entered (and anyone that still wants to), I'm allowing up to THREE entries... just to make it a bit more intresting. I'm not sure when the challenge is going to end. If I have at least 10 entries by tomorrow night - I'll end it then. If not, I'll wait until Saturday night. I think for the next challenge - comments will NOT be screened. When I was a member of MKA_Challenge (well, I still am but they're on hiatus), they never screened their entries and I liked that a lot. People got to compliment others. It was a lot of fun. Also, it was not until this morning that I realized that a user placed both 3rd and special in the voting. For Mod's choice - I picked the one I liked best without even looking at the users... I did not realize that they had already placed. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if you think this is fair? For some reason it's not letting me post a poll. So if you could, please just answer this question in the comments: Is it fair for a user to place twice in the same challenge? - Yes, the Mod has control over "special" winners. - No, someone else should have a chance. If you'd like to explain yourself furthur - go right ahead. If it turns out that the majority of the members think it's not fair - I will not choose someone who has already placed in the current challenge.
