Yup yup, after hours of painstaking screencap hunting all day yesterday and some today, I have for you...

DUN DUN DUN...

AN OC SEASON ONE MOOD THEME. OMG YES.

This thing LITERALLY took me forever. I'm NOT kidding. At all. Ask my brother who had to kick me off of the computer. >_< So yeah, I finished it up today because I had a couple missing, but it's FINISHED. I'm telling you, mood theme making is a PAIN in the BUTT. Okay, enough with that.

Caps for it came from Melissa's Screencaps and Screencap Paradise. :) Focuses on the four kids.

Right-click on the preview and click Save Target As to download.

1. First of all, you should upload all the images to your own hosting site. For this, Photobucket would be best.

2. Head on over to http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console.

3. Once you're there, type moodtheme_create "The OC Season 1" "by elvishdesire"

4. Click "execute".

5. Now you're given an ID number. You'll want to keep this. Seriously.

6. Take the codes that I included in the .zip file and open them. They should open up in Notepad.

7. Replace ##### with the Mood theme ID number you saved from the admin site. If you lost it, you're kinda screwed. You can use the Replace... feature. ;)

8. Replace all "yoursite" with the URL to your host (I use Photobucket until I get my own site. Don't use Imageshack.) where you have the moods.

9. Now go back to the admin/console page and copy and paste all that code into the box at the bottom. Click Execute again. You'll now see a bunch of nice, neat boxes, but no image. That's okay.

10. Now you go to modify your journal. Click on where you see the drop-down menu to choose "The OC Season 1" from the list, and voilà. :)

11. PLEASE CREDIT. I spent hours on this theme (and the Josh Groban one) and would really appreciate it if you could spread the word. :) It really means a lot to me. :)

*NOTE* For some moods I couldn't think of any pictures to use so I just found some pictures that have to be taken in context. For example the pic for "infuriated". Marissa doesn't LOOK infuriated, but if you go back to Episode 8 ("The Rescue") you'll see that given the circumstances, she probably IS infuriated. Sorry if it confuses people, but it's the best I could do. :)

Hmm, Whenever i try to save them, it says "The Link Could not Be Saved. The webpage might have been removed or had its name changed"

Welcome!
Welcome to SpanishEvenstar @ LJ. This is a place where I can dump my graphics to share with the web community. My subjects vary quite a lot, and basically vary depending on what inspires me at the time. Some of the stuff that I post is pretty un-conventional; I like posting stock images of my favorite places.

My graphics tend to be pretty simple; I'm never inspired enough to put text on icons so I like to just slip a border on and save. :) I usually don't take requests for this very reason. I'm really not a very "inspired" person so it can get very difficult for me to make graphics of a subject I really don't feel "drawn" towards. It's a personal thing. :)

Nevertheless, feel free to browse and save whatever you like. Everything beyond the first page is friends-only, so please join the community, and tell your friends. :)
Rules
I'm pretty laid-back when it comes to my graphics. I've learned over the years that credit should not be given to the person who manipulates a previously published photo so that it looks pretty. This is why I don't require people to credit me. If you don't want to put my name under "keywords" when you upload your icon that's fine with me. All I ask is that you don't say that you made the graphic, as that's just plain rude. :) The only reason why I *like* credit is because that way people know where to find more of my work. But again, if someone asks, give him or her my name and we'll all be happy. :)

I also like when people leave comments when they've taken something. It lets me know that my work is appreciated and people like what I make. Otherwise I feel like I'm just making for myself, and while it's still fun and all, it doesn't make me feel too good about myself.

Another rule I have is the no-hotlinking rule. Please do NOT copy and paste the URL of my graphics wherever you put them. ALWAYS save to your computer and upload to your own server, such as Photobucket. Someone did that to me once and everything on my site was down for two weeks. Not very much fun now, is it?

One other thing that I hate is when people post to Xanga sites. People create "icon accounts" and just go around stealing other people's work and putting it on their sites asking people to save them. Again, I'm not anal on the credit deal, but it's REALLY bothersome to most other people. It is rather annoying, in fact. PLEASE don't upload these to Xanga, or I WILL bring out my account on you.

Other than that, please feel free to enjoy my graphics. :)
