my bird sucks at flying [13 Oct 2008|12:28am] silentruth we let the bird out today. it hung around the cage for about 4 hours.. then i walked near and it freaked out and flew around the room. he flies like a baby learning to walk.. but at least he didnt fall. he hit the window, hung out around the fireplace, bit the kid, and the guys ended up catching it with a plastic bag and putting him back in the cage. at least he got the stretch his wings.. my mom came for the weekend, we went to the butterfly show at school. it was pretty epic. she made us 'thanksgiving dinner', and that's in quotes cuz instead of turkey, she made fish xD it was a bit weird when she asked me to pray for the food (even though we never do) with 3 of my atheist roommates (like REALLY atheist) but wtvr. thanksgiving's thanksgiving so i gave thanks food was great. lots of rice xD i'm screwed. like REALLY screwed for my midterms. there are simply TOO much to read and study and there's just no way. i've never actually not been able to fit everything in my sched before i even start. ugh. 1 comment|post comment

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu ep 1-4 [12 Oct 2008|03:30pm] arcangelus ooooooo.... my FMP days. dont even remember when i dropped it. and can't remember when i took up a new interest. I compare this anime to Watsuki's Buso Renkin - outrageous, yet serious, and not emotionally taxing like a certain series that start with an "M" (and the other one starting with "G") So i have heard of Fumoffu for a long time as a parody on the entire series, so yesterday, since i have some time to kill, i decided to watch this. LOL. I almost collapsed laughing. i can't remember laughing so hard in front of a screen before. Yesh, the deadly combo of Gundam/Macross/Gundam literally drained my life. Yesterday was Gin-san's birthday. Happy Belated Birthday, Gin-san! [11 Oct 2008|07:19pm] meikoxlove [ mood | lazy ] School holidays for two weeks. <3 Yesterday I finally got my package from YesAsia: yet another ja-dou novel (the 9th one in the series, but my 4th one I'm totally skipping the volumes in between) and the D.Gray-man fanbook "Gray Ark"! :D And~ today I got the second package containing the D.Gray-man calendar 2009. >D Of course Lavi's on the page of my birthday month. :D (I think Lavi's always on the pages for the summer months - well, Lavi and summer do go well together.) I think today is the 3rd or 4th time I changed the order of my manga/books/games/DVDs/CDs in my bookshelf. I still don't know if it was a good idea to place "Matantei Loki", "Matantei Loki RAGNAROK" and "Demian Syndrome" next to each other. |D (The volumes are all black) Nothing else to do today. :( About ja-dou volume 9 (novel), I bought it because of the cover. Ashray holding an injured Keika in his arms and crying. That made me really curious. I read a little from it and of course looked at the pictures. WTF has happened between volume 4 and 9?! Ashray and Keika don't seem to hate each other anymore. Even when Keika told him something like "You have changed. From a boy to an adult, no, you became manly." (あなた、変わりましたね。少年から一気に大人、いや、男っぽくなったような。), Ashray responded calmly. If they would still hate each other he would have gotten angry, I'm sure. At some point Ashray even cooked something for Keika (but I think that's a flashback, because he still has short hair in that picture) and Keika said it was delicious. That reminds me, how many years has passed there? Ashray has really long hair now... T____T I'm not saying that it looks bad, but I like him with short hair better. His expression has changed, too. He really became more like an adult... And he actually wears long pants now. XD Before that his beautiful long legs were always exposed. I wonder why they became friends after all? Is Ashray, after all, really half-demon and so he came to understand Keika?! o__o post comment
