We have a small Shadow Hearts: From the New World crew. So far: Lady (ladys_grace), Killer (a_naked_flame), and Johnny (johnnygarland, BE ASTOUNDED BY MY AWESOME POWERS OF NAMING). You know what we need to set off a load of fireworks: Shania. But any other FtNW character or, for that matter, any Shadow Hearts character would also be love--and in fact, healers are always in demand in Discedo, and recent events have got people wondering "WHERE ARE THE EXORCISTS?", so an Alice or Koudelka or Zhuzhen would probably get lots of activity with or without canonmates. (But bear in mind, anyone who chooses to join, that your character will not initially have access to their supernatural abilities--they must be regained later.)   spin the ring?

From The New World - Not Rocking My World [ June 26th] sammy_h [ mood | confused ] This  has probably come up before, but what were fans' feelings on From The New World? I'm roughly 2/3 into it and just haven't gotten into the spirit of the game. For me it feels too detached from the world of Shadow Hearts and before just about every dungeon crawl (so to speak) I have to take care of business for every single character. It makes it very difficult to get into the flow of the story, especially when I'm already dissatisfied with the offering.  It's a real shame. While I haven't played Koudelka (I own it though), I know the story and appreciate how it ties to the SH universe. Shadow Hearts was so unique and enchanting, and Covenant, while uncessarily complicated in certain areas of design, was a pleasure to play through, if only for the storytelling (hell, I even loved the side quests and NPC stories) and marvelous characters. FtNW sinks so low in comparison - well, except for the game play, they've done a brilliant job there. I can't even get into the characters. I bought the artbook in hopes of inspiration (merchandise has that affect on me), yet nothing. Is there something wrong with me, or is something amiss?   72  combo        spin the ring?

Regarding ACen [ February 24th] ahebert I have a question to Anime Central attendants. I am currently considering enterting the Masquerade as Albert Simon, and I am wondering if anyone else who plans on doing a Shadow Hearts costume might be interested in doing a group presentation with me. Interested parties should get with me ASAP, so we can hammer out the pre-reg form together. If a group isn't really interested, I'm probably still going to do Albert, or just pull out the Ness costume I'm working on for my local Smash Brothers party. On a similar note, I'm assuming there will at least be a SH group gathering. I have two requests: 1. Please make it a little later in the afternoon. I close every night at my job, and around 11 I am literally just starting to wake up. I'm asking for it to be pushed back to noon or one PM tops. 2. Can we please allot more time for the meet? I would greatly appreciate more time to take better shots and ensure the pictures I am getting are of high quality. None of the pictures I took last year turned out, and I didn't find this out until -after- the meeting because of the rushed nature of it. Can we set aside at least 30 minutes this time? If no one has stepped up to coordinate any such meeting, I will gladly toss my hat in the ring. Gravestone messages. [ January 19th] vickinator Hello :) I'm replaying Shadow Hearts and I was wondering if anyone had the sayings that are shown after each fusion you defeat at the gravestones. It's not incredibly important, but it would be cool to keep as trivia and such. Example: When you successfully defeat Charon, it says, “A traitorous impulse wells up inside of you..” When you defeat Dragner, it says, "A feeling of resignation overcomes you..” I would play through the beginning but my only save file is from around the middle of the game. ^__^; Was just wondering if anyone had all of the sayings for all of the fusion gravestones.
