Disclaimer: I don’t own Lost, Shannon or Sayid.
Notes: Sort of AU, sort of post-rescue and some might consider it sort of OOC though to me it makes sense at the end. Some very small parts are in French or Arabic. I provided the translation at the end though this text is not needed for the comprehension of the fic.
This fic was inspired by the song “Passing Afternoon” by Iron & Wine though it is in no way a song-fic and if you look up the exact lyrics you won’t see the story of the fic in it.

Hi!
I wrote a fic, a Shannon/Sayid fic (though it is very much more of a Shannon-centric fic, it's still a Shannon/Sayid one.) and I need someone who is good at english to beta it for me.
See, English is not my primary language, though I use it fairly often so it can't be that bad, but I still need a beta.
It's sort of AU, sort of post-rescue, some might consider it sort of OOC though to me it makes sense at the end. Everything we learned about Shannon in the show is fair game for spoilers in the fic. Including 2.06-Abandonned.
I couldn't really say what genre it is. According to my definition of fluffy it's not fluffy but it doesn't fit in anything else. It's a bit of a character exploration.
