So, yeah. A The Outsiders RPG. Just for fun when we are in an Outsiders mood. XD Of which I am in right now! hehe ~*~ "Get up." Darry said, walking into their room and kicking the side of Sam's bed. Her bed was the closest to the door, and shook like an old fence in a strong wind. Her head shot up, looking groggy and confused. "Rachel. Get up, now!" He said, walking over to Rachel's bed and hitting the wall over her head. Her eyes cracked open as she peered at him. "I'm up." Sam replied, leaning up in her bed and stretching her arms wide. She rolled out of bed tapped Rachel's mattress with her fingers as she walked by. "Breakfast is ready!" Pony yelled from the kitchen as Darry stalked out of the room, closing the door behind him. Rachel grumbled as she got up and sat on the end of her bed. "Does he have to wake us up that way? It gets pretty irritating after a while." "I know." Sam replied, walking to the small closet and picking out an outfit to wear. After getting changed, she went to make her bed. "But at least he doesn't yell at us like he does Pony." "Pft." Rachel responded, searching for some jeans that were on the floor by her bed. "He might as well when he see's the grades I'm pulling in." Sam shook her head, rolling her eyes. "At least it's Saturday and we don't have to worry about school." After putting her pajama's away, she grabbed her hair brush and brushed out her hair, putting it in a high ponytail. "Girls!" Darry yelled, pobably from the kitchen table behind his cup of coffee and the newspaper. "Your breakfasts are getting cold. Get out here!" "Coming!" Sam yelled, pulling on some socks and her tennis shoes. She straigthened her bed and turned for the door when Rachel said, "How can you live being so clean?" Sam giggled, opening the bedroom door and noticing Rachel's messy side of the room. "No, the question is, how can I live with a slob like you?" Rachel picked up her pillow and threw it at her, just as Sam closed the door behind her. She heard the pillow hit the door with a small thud and fall on the floor. "Chocolate milk?" Soda offered as she sat down at the kitchen table. She shook her head and sat next to Darry, who didn't look happy. He was grumbling about something as he flipped the page of the newspaper over, picking up his mug of coffee and taking a long swig. She wondered how he could drink so much strong coffee and not be sick. "Did you finish your homework, Ponyboy?" Darry snapped, throwing his paper down and picking up his fork. "Uhhh... yeah. I just have a few more pages of Great Expectations to read." He replied, sitting next to Soda and serving himself a piece of chocolate cake. "Finish it before you leave today." Darry said harshly, eating the egg off his fork and pointing it at his little brother. "I don't want your grades to slip anymore than they already have." "What!?" Pony said, arching his eyebrows. "My grades are fine! Why are you always pushing me!" "Pony." Sam whispered, her eyes wide. "Calm down." Soda rolled his eyes and picked up a thick piece of cake, taking a huge bite out of the side. He chugged down some chocolate milk and got up from his seat, walking to the bathroom to go take a quick shower. He always hated to hear Darry and Pony fight. "Hello, kiddies." Two-Bit announced, slamming the front door open and walking into the kitchen, ruffling Pony's hair. "How's life in the funny papers?" He helped himself to a beer from the refridgerator and grabbed a piece of toast from Samantha's plate. "Same as usual." Pony replied, folding his arms over his chest and leaning back in his chair, pushing his plate of food away. "Anyone around here go by the name of Sodapop?" Steve said, waltzing into the kitchen as he combed his hair. "In the shower." Sam replied, pushing her food around her plate. "We're going to be late for work of he takes too long." Steve stated, grabbing a piece of cake and taking a seat on the kitchen counter. "Hurry up, Soda!" Darry yelled, getting up from his seat and walking to the bathroom. "You can't be late for work." "Why does he have to pick on me?" Pony said under his breath, slouching in his seat. "Because it's his job." Sam replied, with a joking smile. A smile cracked on his face as he looked up at her. Sam got up from her seat, picked up the deserted plates and put them in the sink, just as Rachel walked into the kitchen. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty." Two-Bit retorted, noticing Rachel's entrance into the room. Her hair was slightly deshevled and she had a sleepy look in her eyes. "Shut up, Two-Bit." Rachel replied, taking a seat and eating her cold eggs and toast. The front door slowly opened as Johnny entered the house. He snuck into the kitchen and took a seat next to Pony. "Hungry, Johnny?" Sam asked, cleaning the plates in the sink. He nodded, and mumbled a response. She smiled, walking to the refridgerator and getting some eggs and the butter. The radio flicked on in the living room, pumping Elvis Presley through the house. She heard the bathtub curtain slide open and Soda getting out. When she finished the eggs, she put them on a plate and made some toast. Then, she dropped the plate in front of Johnny, who looked like he hadn't eaten in the last few days. She looked at his arm, which looked as if it had a new bruise on it. He pulled his sleeve down to cover it, knowing she had seen it. "Hey, Soda!" Steve said, hopping off the counter. He walked into the bathroom where Soda was drying off. He began to talk about some girl he saw on the way over and Sam quickly lost interest in the story. "Almost ready, Soda?" Darry yelled from the living room. "We have to leave soon." "Just a few more minutes." Soda replied, Steve following him around the house, continuing his story. "So, what you kiddies want to do today?" Two-Bit asked, then chugged down the rest of his morning beer. "We could play some football?" Pony suggested. "If the ball is still at the park." "You have to finish your homework, kid, before you leave this house." Darry said, pointing at him as he walked through the kitchen. "And you two." He said, referring to Sam and Rachel. "Have you finished your homework too?" They both nodded, Sam not wanting to get into a confrontation and Rachel because she was drinking some orange juice. "Good. And you better not be lieing to me, Rachel." He replied, throwing his shirt over his white undershirt. "I will find out on your next report card. And if they slip at all you will get a pounding." "Yeah, yeah." Rachel retorted, leaning back in her chair. "I know. And it is all done. I don't see why you think I'm lieing to you. I-" "Be quiet, Rachel." Sam whispered. "Don't!" Rachel snareld at her, and was about to give her a piece of her mind when Aaron and Darren let themselves in. She got up from the table and rushed into the other room. They started talking immediately and seemed to forget Pony, Johnny and Sam were even in the other room. Darry got Soda and Steve ready and out the door, shouting a few more orders as he walked out. He mentioned cleaning the house, putting the dishes away, and not getting into trouble. Also, he told Darren to stop dribbling that basket ball in the house. "Okay, what happened to make Darry so bitter?" Rachel said, leading the boys into the kitchen. "Was he given salt except for sugar as a child?" Pony laughed, shaking his head. "He's been like that. It's a Darry Curtis gene flaw." Johnny picked his plate up and dropped it in the sink. He was his usual quiet self, but Sam felt there was something different. "You okay, Johnny?" Sam asked, her eyebrows furrowed. "Yes." He replied quickly. "I'm fine, just dandy." He was trying to hide in his jacket, which usually meant he didn't want to talk about it. "Lets kick this popsicle stand." Pony said, trying to do his best Dally impression. He pulled out a cigarette and balanced it on his lips, lighting it before leading the group to the front door. "But what about Great Expectations?" Sam asked, letting the door slam behind her. "Darry can't run my life." He said, taking a long drag on his cigarette as he handed his carton to Johnny, who took one. "I'll do it later." "That a boy, Pon." Two-Bit said, snagging the carton from Pony's back pocket. "Your finally catching onto my slacker ways." --
