Hi guys!

In case you've missed the recent (or not so recent) kerfluffle going on with LJ, Adrienne and I decided it would be better if we friendslocked PuzzleBleu. This has no effect on those of you that already have joined the community. The watchers, however, might want to go here, since things will be locked from now on.

The rules are really simple.

1. No underage members. I know this sucks, but if we allow it, LJ could ban us and I'd hate that. I'll check people's bios before letting them in.
2. Criticism is completely welcome! Flaming, however, is not. Is there anything you think could be improved? We're all ears.
3. Don't distribute these works without our permission. :)
4. Mishmash. Some art links are broken and I'm working on that (thanks for the notice!). If there's anything else you have trouble with, like not getting a membership: let us know. It's a lot to keep track of, and comments go straight into our inboxes. So....curious about anything? Comment! :D

I've probably forgotten something, so there might be an ETA in the future.

First off, this is to say that we've noticed the recent spate of new friends: hello there!

(We've also noticed the new comments from old friends, which always tickle us pink.)

There have been various ideas rumbling round in our heads and in our pens and on our keyboards for the past year or so, and recently, some of them have gotten rather pushy. Credit's due to all of you, however, for having such patience while life, with great gusto, gets in the way. From academic matters to practical matters, our lives have been hectic, but it seems that things are settling down a little this summer. Do stay tuned - and, as always, there's the archive, in which even we occasionally find things we hadn't noticed before.

In other words, the very warmest of welcomes to all, no matter how long you've been with us!

ETA, 20 September 2007: We thought we'd add to this post that, if you watch this community, you should request to join ASAP! We're now admitting members, as we've decided to friends-lock our work in order to protect it from general LJ idiocy. We'll also be making a post here devoted solely to this issue within the next couple of weeks or so, as a reminder/reinforcement. Thanks to all of you who've already done so, though!
