That's pretty funny. I like how he's so sarcastically dragging it on, as if he actually cares. Eh, it's something to do, I guess.

Personally, I like most of his creations thus far, but I could live with less of him as a character in my life. Then again, if you put a lot of the top designers in a show, and you saw how they truly acted competing for a heads-up on the competition, I wonder what most people would think about their favourite(s) as characters after a few episodes of that show.

I'm not trying to argue, or say anyone's wrong about how they feel towards Santino and/or whomever else (because everyone's entitled to have their own emotions), but these are just my opinions.

i'm wondering why the moderator of that group finds it necessary to post not one, not two, but SIX of the SAME "no santino with fox on his head!" photos? and then something that looks vaguely like a photo of countess vaughn? (PLEASE let countess vaughn be the creator of this group ...)

Yep.

I'm "friends" with a celebrity or two on MySpace, but I know for a fact that they're real.

I'm somewhat skeptical that he's the real Santino.

you can probably tell whether or not someone like that is legit by looking at their url. theres like a section in their URL that shows their "friendID", the lower the friend ID is, the longer theyve been part of myspace. i remember checking it, and i think i remember it being low enough that it was made before the show aired or even before the names were released, so i think its real.

Santino Rice is a superlative designer, with that I won't argue. But all the attitude--the cartoonish eye rolling, the delusions of grandeur, the Swanson-esque and self-professed superiority, and the unabashed, cowardly and entirely uncalled-for bashing of obviously equally meritous designers all so he can *continue* to feel superior--all that makes me want to retch warm, fuzzy and stinking of Everclear and Goldschlager all over his shiny black stilettos.

Yes, he's an awesome designer, but he's not consistent enough to make me 'ooh and aah' without exception every week, and so far he's no more worthy of winning than anyone else at this point--a win especially not warrant-worthy when you consider he hid his egomaniacal head in the sand last ep and blamed his *team members* for his own team's embarrassing and over-candified, embellish-explosive runway display (all part of *his* vision, mind you), when he should have taken a card from Daniel Franco's gracious, classy, understated and entirely unexpected and unmeritous bow-out.

At the beginning of the show, I thought Santino was all about substance, creativity and vision. Now I think he's little more than ego and drama, with a significant spoon of moxie on the side. Drama works on the telly, yes, but the winner of PRs2 shouldn't need a network, when all's said and done, to share his or her vision with the world. If you want to win this competition, Santino, you'll stop worrying about who wins each week's challenge, and be true to your *own * vision. Don't give a rat's ass who wins today, just care about who wins *eventually.*

Who do I think has the talent, the drive, the personality *and* the vision? Well, Daniel F's sadly gone, but I think the only contestant who really strikes me as having what it takes on *all* counts is Nick. He's, at least IMO, the quintessential designer, and as far as attitude and a natural and gregarious graciousness, he puts Santino to shame. Then again, at this point, the attitude of Melvin Udall, David Leisure, Bud Bundy and every Springer guest since the Springer show's inception puts Santino to shame, ne?

Santino's got the stitches, yes, but he hasn't got the soul, and he most *definitely* hasn't got it sewn and in the bag.
