Soooo, at first, I thought, oh hell, the internets died, but whatever, I'm only on holiday for another four days or so, who caaaaares. So I didn't post a hiatus. Then I was sitting in the airport fo ten hours, and remembering all the stuff I had to do at home, and still didn't think to post one.

Then I came home and fell asleep for well over sixteen hours, whoo.

...Then I woke up to discover that my power cord is ded, blown, overheated, no more. Called Toshiba and whined but, being Toshiba, they're taking forever to send me a new one. Plus! Oh boy, get this-- the UK system of University AKA How To Destroy Your Mind, Hopes, And Dreams does this wonderful thing where they let you go have fun all Winter break, then stick you with exams when you get back. My first one is tomorrow. ;3;

So! In short, until I get a new power cord or exams are over, you won't be seeing me at all. I'm not really sure how to excuse my kids, what with not even having the battery life to check what's going on today let alone really write this post, so, the usual have godmod control? So. Here’s how it goes: Cella is in her first year of university and she’ll have her first University-style exams of her life. They start on the 29th of this month, and end on the 12th f the next. Cella needs to study her brains out. Which means, unfortunately, total and complete hiatus from internet of any sort.

My hiatus starts officially on Monday 14th. D: IDON’TWANNA. But I gotta.

Ever had a morning where you wake up feeling not like yourself? Well today citizens get a dose of that in the flesh. Blondes have more fun, brunettes are smarter, boys do it better, babes do it best, it ain't easy being a pimp. The sky's the limit on what experiences citizens can have walking in someone else's shoes, literally. [Characters will wake up in the same place where they fell asleep, only their bodies will switch. Characters may not even know they've swapped until they see a mirror... or post to the network ♥]

This is a character-to-character swap. Character-to-character means that the swapping is only happening between characters. Not NPCs, not characters from your canon that are in another world. Only between characters that are in the City and game.

With the City set in the period of Ancient Egypt, we have to wonder - why are all these dead people walking around? How can their Ka and Ba be weighed against the feather of truth when they're not MUMMIFIED?! They must pass on to become one of the "blessed dead," and as citizens of this City we must lend a helping hand.

In other words, anyone up for some rounding up and attempted mummification of dead citizens in the City? 8D

We'll need our respective priests and priestesses and others to help in the capture, along with dead citizens of course~

I'm saddened to announce my first drops here at Poly, and that it will be diminishing my cast to one.

Firstly is Ryohei [maxtremely] because I just haven't clicked; I haven't had the time to re-read his chapters and get a real feel for his character, even in the few appearances he's made, so he'll be disappearing on his search for a good dojo. Probably too air-headed for his own good anyways.

Secondly is Rabi, [oodzuchi], on the reasons that he's barely interacted and made any friends, and the last Rabi left him in a bit of a rut. I'm afraid I don't know any of the characters/players from the Angel Sanctuary crew, and Rabi getting sucked right back into servitude at the Firehouse made it hard to really get him integrated. But it was fun while he lasted; he had a blast joining the ballet and will probably poof on one of his study expeditions around the City.

So I totally vanished for a... well, for more than a little while. I hope none of my characters have been booted from the game, but I checked the latest inactivity post and didn't see them there so I'm assuming I'm safe. o^o/

...but... with my return, I've decided to drop one of my characters. I've missed some big (and little) plots that she should have been involved in and I can't really think of any way to ease her back into things. I hadn't been doing much with her as it is, so it's probably best for me to give her up. So... DTB guys and everyone else she friended, please say bai-bai to Kirihara Misaki (starchases). She's had a nice, long run but it's time for her to go home.

But not without saying her good-byes.

As far as my other characters go, let's just say Toph (earthbent) and Schierke (wicchen) have been hanging low in the Underground for the duration of that last big plot, whereas Kenpachi (rampaging) spent his time fighting the alien dudes on the surface & running in circles.
