| » The Beak relaunches. Again. |
If you are reading this after midnight (eastern time), then the latest version of The Beak has just gone online. Because this new format allows our writers to post articles as they finish them, you'll no longer have to sit around waiting for our increasingly arbitrary updates. The downside is that most of them have had their posting privileges for less than five minutes, so there's no real new material yet.
This is a trade-off. It will soon right itself, and you can cope with it in the meantime.
Some of the old material didn't make it through the move. This is not because there was anything wrong with it, but because it didn't fit into the new format as gracefully as we'd hoped. All of it will resurface, over time, on a series of small, self-contained sites, each with its own thematically consistent design.
As always, all this talk means nothing if you don't read the damn thing.

So, it looks like now that I'll be played by Mos Def, which I think is an excellent idea. Preferably with his hair grown out and straightened, like Snoop in '98, but really, whatever Mos wants to do. And, can we get Carlos Mencia to play Captain Fun? I think I'd like that.
