| The synthetic dream foundation - Behind the gates of horn and ivory |
[24 Apr 2008|05:49pm] |
The synthetic dream foundation has a new album, entitled "Behind the gates of horn and ivory" coming out at the end of this month. The sound clips on their site sound phenomenal. Anyone else had a chance to listen to the sample mp3s yet? I think this is going to be the best TSDF album yet.

| Voting Opens on the Charnel House Goth Hall Of Fame - Long post warning |
[11 Apr 2008|09:59pm] |
Voting for the Charnel House Goth Hall Of Fame is now open. The Adjudicators decisions are final.
The Adjudicators will be;- Ghost, Marie, Kev 36663, SonicJunkie.
The adjudicators have selected an initial list of bands for consideration, to which the public nominations have been added. We (the Adjudicators) acknowledge that there are a large number of bands missing from the final list, but we can only go with the bands suggested to us during the nominations period. If a band isn't listed here - nobody nominated them... maybes next year ;)
Votes will be cast by the public and the adjudicators, and will be based on a points system as follows:
1). You should give a band 1 point if you feel they have made a small contribution to the musical genre or they are of only minor importance.
2). Vote a band 2 points if you feel they have made an important contribution to the musical genre or if you believe them to be of some importance.
3). Award a band 3 points if you think that they have made a contribution to the scene of a very high standard or if you think they are of great importance.
4). Four points should be reserved for those bands that you feel are seminal (i.e. of unsurpassed importance).
Voting rules:
No individual may vote for any band more than once.
You may vote for as many bands as you wish from the list of nominees.
Only two bands can be given the maximum score per individual voting.
Voting will close on September 1st 2008.

| Like to shop? |
[06 Feb 2008|12:58pm] |
Hey everyone!
My name is Alexandra Olteanu, the PR intern at the Canadian fashion label. Since we are conducting extensive in-house research on the best places to shop for edgy clothes, I thought our community is one of the best places to ask about this. Thought you guys would enjoy participating in our project. All you have to do is tell us what are your favorite places to shop in your city and/or around the world!
Looking forward to hear about your likes.
Alexandra Olteanu
