| Morgan's Doctor Speaks |
[05 Jul 2008|05:36pm] |
Well, I'm assuming it's Morgan's doctor; at the very least it's a doctor who's very familiar with Morgan's condition and who is named "Grant Jones, M.D., Associate Professor/Team Physician, The Ohio State University."
He responded beautifully to the verbal vomit of that bat from hell at the LA Times. Scroll down through the responses to see what he wrote.

| World Champion Morgan Hamm |
[05 Jun 2008|12:46pm] |
Thought you would appreciate this fun little interview bit from the USOTC Media Summit:
World champion Morgan Hamm: That's right, Morgan Hamm, not his twin brother Paul, who won the overall gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Morgan got a 16.4 on vault!!!!!!! He's two tenths ahead of Raj and David Sender on vault. Boy, oh, boy does that one help! Can I scream now, guys?

| Yea! Air Flair gets "ooohs"! |
[22 May 2008|08:54pm] |
Morgan Hamm wowed the crowd—the first big “oooh” of the night—with the competitive debut of his “Air Flair,” a skill he hopes to have named after him. The difficulty value had not been set as of yesterday, but Hamm is hoping the judges deem it worthy of at least a “D.” The overall solid set—only brother Paul is better so far—earned Morgan a 15.75 (6.3 “A”).
At this point he's still tied for first on floor with Paul. Yippee!

Very nice article from Inside Gymnastics speaking to Miles Avery. I did cringe a little hearing Avery talk about how Paul will be ready if Morgan doesn't make it on the team. Guess I'm an enternal optimist, since I still think Morgan has as good a shot as his brother to make it.

| Ever wonder what's underneath the shorts? |

The debate can now be settled--at least as far as Morgan is concerned. Found this funny pic from Athens I hadn't seen before.

I don't know if anyone has been following this AT&T Blue Room series as I have. The latest episode is called Media Day and follows American Gymnasts through, well, media day. Very brief shots of Morgan and Paul, yet still a fun little video to watch. Definately gives you a sense of the craziness!

And because I couldn't help myself...
Enjoy. :D
