2:31 pm - The Shipper Diaries: Mr. Monk Buys A House
|

I have just started uploading my current Monk/Natalie fiction attempt called The Shipper Diaries (yes, I realize it's a lame title!). Basically, it's a spin on the old USA character blogs. It's blog entries from Natalie's POV on each episode, only with the twist that through each blog she slowly comes to realize she has feelings for Monk. *dodges items thrown by Nat/Randy shippers*
For now, I will *try* to update each week with blogs based on the first half of season 7 but definitely will update weekly when the second half starts back up.
You can check the fiction here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4573224/1/ as well as a bonus introduction entry which really covers the basics, through Nat's POV, of why I'm writing these blogs.
Yes, I admit, most everything , okay everything, will be my own thoughts based on the episodes Monk/Natalie interactions but I will do my best to form them in a way that sounds like they are coming from Natalie...and yes, I know I need a life, thank you =)
Alright so for the first entry. Note, they are all relatively short. Like seriously, this intro is almost longer!
Story Title: The Shipper Diaries Chapter Title: Mr. Monk Buys A House Character: Natalie Mentions of: Adrian, Sharona, Trudy, Dr. Kroger, Julie Rating: G-PG Summary: Natalie slowly realizes she may have feelings for Mr. Monk when writing her weekly blogs.

Does anyone have any screen caps from the Lottery episode of Leland in his gym clothes? I want an icon of that so bad. Workout Leland FTW!

Does anyone know where I can find the 100th episode? It's not on hulu or usa's website. The only time it was on USA that I wasn't at work was at 2am Monday. Needless to say I couldn't make it through the whole episode.
I hope they post tonights episode. Once again I will be at work. *Sigh*

2:37 pm - Mr. Monk and the...Disappearing Scene?
|

I may be way behind on this since I don't visit the USA forums very often anymore, but this has been bothering me for awhile. In the first part of Mr. Monk is on the Run, there used to be a scene where Adrian was approached right outside the statue store and asked about his uniform and his military service. However, since it originally aired, I have watched it 2 or 3 times and each time that scene was bypassed and it went straight to Mr. Monk setting up the two statues and solving who really shot the six fingered man.
So, my question is, has anyone else noticed this and does anyone know why this scene keeps getting bypassed? Is it on the episode in the season 6 box set? I don't own it yet, so don't know if it's there. I know this is a bizarre question, but I'm just extremely curious why it would be cut out. The only thing I can think of is the idea of him illegally impersonating a man in uniform, but that seems like somewhat of a stretch.

7:27 pm - MR MONK IS THE UMPIRE
|

Hi! I just joined this community, because I've been a Monk fan for a while, and lately I've been introducing my new husband to the show. We are currently in the middle of Season 2---in fact, we've just watched the episode Mr. Monk Goes to the Ball Game.
As I'm sure you'll all remember, Mr. Monk does a stint as a Little League umpire. My hubbie has been a Little League umpire for several years, so he really got a kick out of this. However, he keeps insisting that we've seen Monk as an umpire once *before* this episode. So it would be in Season 1, or early in Season 2.
Is he dreaming, or did this happen? Have we seen Monk playing the umpire on at least two occassions within the first two seasons? I've re-read all the episode titles and can't figure out where that might have happened. Any help would be appreciated!

10:43 am - Mr. Monk is underwater. Help!

I was trying to catch up on Monk on the USA website. Mr. Monk is underwater played until the next to last commercial break, right before he does the final part of closing the case and then it goes to the commercial detail and goes back to the previous segment. I can't figure out a way to get it to play to the end. Can someone please give me a sort of play by play of the last 8 or so minutes of the episode? TIA!

It's true, I just joined last night. I became addicted to Monk sometime last fall when I watched the first episode, and then hunted down and watched every other episode in existence in like a month's time. SAD.
Anyway, I know this is hardly a novel idea, but I'm feeling talkative right now. Am I the only one who would have an aneurysm in excitement if they did a Psych/Monk crossover? XD
