I am selling a BRAND NEW without box pair of patent transformers which are similar to the now unavailable transmuters. They will fit a size 5. They have never been worn and come with pinstripe panels which i paid £30 alone for and you can get lots more panels for them. I paid £110 for the boots and this is how much they are in the shops. Will accept £50 for these babies

10:09 pm - The Midsummer's Night Ball - a masquerade ball in Salisbury

simm42
Your hosts, Oberon and Titania, cordially invite you to enter our magic hall with your best finery and indulge in mischief, glamour, and magic in historic Salisbury, a few miles from sacred Stonehenge.

The ball is taking place on 20 June, 2008, Midsummer's eve, from 7:00pm till 1am. We truly wish to make this an evening for our guests to remember: be whisked away by a horse and carriage to the marble steps of the Salisbury guildhall, where the Oreo String Quartet will be playing music for the season in the Foyer. Fine wines and casked ales are being provided by Shipseys for your enjoyment. Puck and Attendant Faeries, courtesy of Firecat Masquerade, will be making an appearance to entertain our guests while DJ duo Sexbat and The Ingenue and DJ Andy Ravensable keep the trad-goth and industrial music going until the early hours. Photographer Dylan will take photos so you can have momentos of your special evening. Expect a surprise or two as well along the way, as this is a night when nothing is as it seems, and anything is possible!

6:52 pm - // Autonomy: Black & White / Feb 2nd

superevildene

February Autonomy: Saturday the 2nd
Guest DJs: DJ Synne (London / Slimelight) & The Paradox
Plus resident noise-fiend: S.o.T

We also have an optional dress-theme for the night:

Black & White
So, you can break out your snow-camo trousers, pinstripe, finest latex or leather garments, or anything else you have which is black and / or white, get dressed up, look fabulous and dance your arse off to the finest beats and audio treats Leicester has to offer.

The February Autonomy is actually an important one, too:
The turnout will be monitored over the evening by management, and the more people we get in, the more funding the night gets, which means I can make Autonomy better for you all.

So, I ask you to come down, have a fun night, and support your scene, bring a friend, or even try the night out if you haven't done so before!

We'll be playing everything from EBM, to HardStyle, to Noise, to Tekno, and all the way to the finest cheese and old-skool classics.

Dene (S.o.T)

1:21 pm - Althernative Club Night Calendar

sepheri
I have started collating a public Google calendar of regular alternative club nights in the UK and it was suggested that I post about it here.

It can be found here:

It is currently less than comprehensive so if there is any night you know about and would like me to add then please let me know the following details (either here or by email to sepheri at gmail dot com):

Name of club
Website
Location
Night it is on
Regularity (1st Friday of the month etc)
Opening times
Price of admission
A little blurb about what kind of music it plays and who the djs are would be nice too.

Also, if I have added your club to the calendar and you would rather it wasn't there or I have entered some information wrongly or whatever please give me a shout and I will rectify it for you.

So far I have added (mostly taken from a list posted in [info]infest_uk previously):

Black Veil - Leeds (monthly 1st Saturday)
Prophecy - Wirral and York (York until March only)
Corporation - Sheffield (weekly on Saturdays)
Caged Asylum - Manchester (weekly on Saturdays)
Transmission - Leeds (monthly, second Saturday)
Frankie Goes to Subculture (Until March)
Wendy House - Leeds (3rd Saturday of the month)

I know Black Sheep is on a Sunday but it doesn't seem to have its 2008 dates up yet and what time does it close?
Does anyone have opening times for Club Lash?

So its all a bit middle-north England atm, it would be great if people from every where else could send me some details.

I hope it is useful to people, please let me know what you think.

I've emailed the RSPCA and Cats' Protection to bring it to their notice, and a friend in the media to see if any of her contacts are interested.
Also, if you have time, write to the press.

Thanks.
