Fan Art Challenge!

I was doing a fan art challenge elsewhere and decided to do it here as well.

As we all saw in the first episode, Coop and Jamie hadn't always dressed the way they do every episode. So I was thinking, how do you think Coop, Jamie, and Kiva would look now (3 years later), assuming CN and the creators did change their looks once in a while? In other words, for the artists in the community, draw them (and/or other characters (IE Goat, Tiny, Coop's Cousin, Tommy, Gorrath, Etc.).

Or you can comment and describe. I can see Coop sporting a Mohawk now. Or longer hair. Jamie with shorter hair, and one of those soul patch goatees, and Kiva with longer hair (no separate tails).

Fusionfall

If someone had gone to comic con 07, you know that CN announced their top secret project called Fusionfall. It's a game that looks similar to Kingdom Hearts except that you are in the world of CN and see your fav characters.

So what does Megas as to do with this, you might ask? Well first George Krstic(Co-creator of Megas) is involve also that Megas will appear and maybe Coop, Jamie, Kiva and the glorft have cameos.

Notice the similarities. Teeth, Tenticles.

Something tells me that Jody god inspired by the Final Boss of Earthbound and used him for Gorrath's design.....somewhat.

In related news....I was thinking of using Giygas's design for a villian in an upcoming episode I might do. Coop stupidly opens up a dimension to a different dimension where this "entity" rules all and wants to rule all of existance.

Another Megas Related Dream...

It's weird I keep having these Megas Related Dreams...

Anyway, in the dream, Cartoon Network decided to do a weird KND-Type (KND=Kids Next Door) spin-off of Megas XLR. It was sort of a mixture of both shows' animation combined. I hated it! Not the animation mind you, but the general plot.

Coop was turned into a kid again and he was the unpopular kid at this school where the popular kids, not the nice type either, considered him a dumb geek. Anyway these popular kids were the stars, and they were sort of a Power Ranger type group with their own mechas, kind of like the S-Force except instead of being a little nerdy and goody-two shoes, they were more like "Look at us we're cool and popular!"

It's like Cartoon Network was trying to make this show about trendy kids who pick on anyone not like them.

Anyway in this show, Coop is one of the bad guys. And they always defeat him! Nevermind the fact that Megas probably has a "Destroy annoying bullying trendy kid power ranger wannabes" button somewhere on it. :C) I mean, doesn't Megas always have some plot device button that let's Coop win the day?

In the dream, I quit watching the show after two episodes. I also kept wondering where Kiva and Jamie went to.

Megas XLR Game idea part deux

I just had another Megas XLR game idea.

What if Megas XLR was like a Gradius/Salamander shump. It would be so cool. You would fight Big core's with the big blue robot and use any weapon against the enemy.

There would be Boss rushes and stuff right down to the pathetically easy boss...but some of the bosses would be Megasesque.

For example: If anyone is familar with Gradius then you would know that there would be a boss that you have to dodge in and out of. Well instead of being a core it would be the Regis Mark V.

And the Karajor would be an example of a core ship.

So yeah....it's been 4 years since this kickass showed aired. Awesome show about a cool strong fat guy, his cowardly best friend, and a redheaded chick from the future who use a giant robot to smash stuff....and bad guys.

Happy 4th anniversary to Megas....NOW GIVE US MORE EPISODES!!!

So...

I remember asking on the CBR Rumbles Forum who would be able to beat MEGAS in a fight if Coop and Kiva teamed up with Marvel Comics's Forge and upgraded MEGAS. If you don't know about Forge, here's his Wikipedia Entry:

Anyway, if they all cooperated, how powerful would MEGAS become (Considering Coop has a great potential for improvisation (Just look at MEGAS), Kiva is already an engineer, and Forge's abilities)?

Some questions.

Now that this journal has gotten some action. I got a few questions.

1: Would you guys like me to do more episodes of Megas. I have a few ideas but I can't seem to get them off the ground. One idea is "The Krakkor" Where Jamie's pirety like grandpa *Voiced by Steven Blum and sounds exactly like Captian Deadwood in Billy and Mandy* goes on a fishing trip with Coop and Jamie. Jamie thinks his grandfather is crazy and senile and makes up stuff about giant squids and stuff. But when Jamie is taken by the Krakkor, Coop must rescue his friend. But the thing is...does Jamie really want to be rescued? *The Krakkor's lair has a shitload of treasure in it*

2: Do you like the episodes I did currently? I know a few of you do such as KOD and Kingscott but if you guys have any opinions shout them out.

3: Do chicks really dig giant robots? :P
