|
Title: Around The World In Eighty Busks Author: "colacancol" Rating: (U) spoilers for 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' Pairing: Desmond/Charlie Summary: When Desmond decides to enter the boat race, he abandons everything... but sadly also, everything abandons him... It's surprising where the most enjoyable conversation can come from when you've got no-one - and how life comes down to sharing your last bottle of plonk with a funny street busker.
-: written for 'day 3 - photo' at "lostsquee" and the "lostfichallenge" 'beginnings & ends' challenge...
( 'Hey,' the man scrambled after him, his instrument bouncing on the tension from his slack strap, the bellowing hollow sound it made as it banged against his forearm, 'I know your face!' He stepped out with one foot and threw a black flat cap onto the pavement, amongst the chalk drawings, his predecessor's labours. FCUK said the inside label - he couldn't have been that poor. 'Yeah,' the Scot smiled, 'Like I haven't heard that before - I've never met you, brother.' )

Due to inspiration, "drabble" has been turned to "ficlet", unless you can call roughly 200 words a drabble still. Requested by iamstillthemoon

And they recover a man who desperately needs Peter's healing hands... Spoilers: For 'Distractions' (H) and 'Through The Looking Glass' (L)

( He bent down to prop up the person, glasses slipping along the bridge of his nose. 'I think he duh-rowned,' said he, analysing his gaunt and pale complexion. Each of the four strapping lads heaved his body onto the desk, knocking important papers from their trays, turning the owner's spot-lamp aside. They'd trashed it. And it wouldn't have even been so messy, had they not missed the bin, entirely. 'Where did he come from?' Peter asked, puzzled. )

Title: Two of Hearts Rating: PG-13 Challenge: #68: OTP Character[s]/Pairing[/s]: Daniel Faraday/Charlotte Lewis Summary: She doesn't remember because she was drunk; he doesn't remember because he can't, but somehow it almost happens again. Notes: There's a reference to one of Jeremy Davies' other roles in there. Can you find it? In all honesty, I'm a little afraid of OOCness for this one. Let's hope my fears are nonsensical. Also noteable, the end seems to kind of just cut-off, but I had no idea what else to do with it.
(He doesn't mention that he won't remember her name in a few hours.)

Title: Mile Sigh Club Author: "colacancol" Rating: (18) Pairing: Jack/Charlie Summary: There's a plane going across the Pacific ocean - there are many people on it, but only two of them are in the toilet... One's a druggie, one's a drunk... And when life's eating itself away, a little bit of mile high sex might help to take your mind off things ... Especially when you couldn't give a damn. Spoilers: Spoilers for 'Pilot Pt I'
-: written for the 'Original A-Team' at "charliepacefic" and the 'Loved Up' at "charlielives" challenge...
( 'Look,' the Brit opened up, 'What exactly are you desperate for?' The passenger pulled out a vodka miniature, the gift he'd been given earlier to allay his fears, and swiftly topped it with a half-bottle, right out of his jacket pocket. 'Relief,' Doctor Shephard answered. And from then on in, the rock-star didn't mind taking his heroin in front of him. He was just another user, wanting to be loved, begging for some place to be. )
