Does anyone else have issues with shoes? i've brought a pair off cosworx to wear with my wa lolita outfit ( which has now arrived) and after a small miscommunication saga i now have the right size, but i've found they are a little narrow and i cant get my foot in. perfect on lenght however. i'm a UK size 5 - 5.5. if i cant get them to fit i need to get some new ones and was thinking about some rockers. anyone know a good place to get some that will fit or know a good way to make shoes fit?

Hime loli - big dresses, bigger hair and lots of bling! Hell yeah. (I also think we have a rebel side fraction planning on sailor/pirate themes coz it is the seaside after all.

and as always we have our resident Canadian with his shiny digital SLR so the pics normally turn out quite nice and include everyone in them.


Everyone and anyonewelcome, though I must confess we're not your most um, conservative of loli groups. We eat chicken feet, chase pigeons, flirt with Captain Jack and are frequently stopped by the police! (see icon)

Brighton has some good clubbing, I'm going to be another year older, and some of us frilly dressed people have alchamahol love, so some of us will be staying on to go out in the evening. We're now staying with lowly_concubine but if you can arrange accomidation/live nearby please come along!

Actual working hour = From 9:30 to 16:30(10:00 -11:00 rehearsal ,11:00- 13:00 free time, 13:00- 14:30 preparation of the catwalk, 14:30 - 15:00 catwalk time)

 Sorry if you see this more than once, as I've crossposted it to a few communities in the hope of reaching everyone who doesn't visit the Amecon forum very often.

This is just a quick update as to what's going on. Basically, the event will be most likely be on the  Saturday of the convention (waiting on confirmation of our room), and will be split into 2 parts.

The first part will be a small fashion show detailing different aspects of the fashion to those who have either just started out, or have a passing interest. Therefore, we're really looking for volunteers to take part in this! If you're interested (really interested, as we don't really have time to waste with people who will back out at the last minute - we've had this happen too many times before sadly) then either email me at (marshmallow [dot] factory [at] gmail [dot] com) , or send me a personal message on lj.

The second part will be a lot less formal, with mingling, foods and drinks available. During this, we'll also be handing out voting slips so you can vote for the lolitas who you think best match the categories on the slip. There will be prizes awarded to those who win, so be sure to stay for that! For this section, it's really about getting to know other lolitas, and if any of the lolitas who run their own business would like to participate in showing off some of their wares, we'd be extremely happy to accommodate this!

We'd really like to present a good image of the UK lolitas to everyone attending, so if you do want to participate in the fashion show, please send me a picture of you wearing the outfit/coordinate you would be wearing on the day so that we can decide which section you would be in, and help us write a little introduction for you!

Hey I'm not sure if anyone's seen this, but I'm posting this here on behalf of katch_chan. I know it's not loita related but I know plenty of lolitas here are into Para Para so in case you missed this on the london_loli comm.


Tomorrow is the ParaPara UK meet and seeing as it's the greatest weather ever I expect everyone to be there. Ok I expect some people to be there.

Everything is going ahead as planned, I'll be at Euston from about 12:30 - 1:30 and then we'll head to Green Park.

Does anyone have any song requests they want me to put on cd for them. Feel free to bring your own cd's as well.
