Pretty sure I haven't seen this posted yet. I was flipping through the October 2008 issue of the magazine Best Life just now and was pleasantly surprised to see Chris Meloni looking mighty fine (what's new) on page 69. :D Something about his interior decorating. It's pretty much just one page front and back.

Evidently, Ausiello has posted on a yet another SVU guest, this one being Ellen Burstyn. Unfortunately, it's a mega-spoiler, as even the title spoils immediately. For Stabler fans, it's a biggie, and that's all I'll say. Enjoy.

My hard drive decided to have a terminal apoplectic fit today, and took with it to the grave all of my bookmarks. At least it lasted long enough for me to transfer all my files to my external hard drive. *kisses statue of Buddy Christ*
I've managed to recall a few of the fanfics and videos and such I had bookmarked, but not nearly what I had. So here's my request: recommend me your favorites fics (grownup E/O, A/O, C/O Munch/anyone,) and/or videos (shippy or general, no Top 40 songs.) Bonus cookies for anyone who knows where Mousie962 hid her fanfic. ;)

This week in Rome a TV shows festival is being held. Lots of Italian and American celebs crowd the city and... I was there on their first night.
One of them is Christopher Meloni with wife. He is stunning, better than on the Tv screen (!!!)

I haven't seen anyone mention this, so I figured I'd fill you in. Mariska Hargitay has a cameo in Mike Meyer's new movie "The Love Guru." It's a small part, but it's pretty memorable, and she looks so stoked to be there! She also mentioned throughout the movie - in fact, they use her name as a kind of running gag (in a good way). Cracked me up every time!

Apparently, Ice-T, Coco, and Ice-T's son were on one of the teams for "Celebrity Family Feud". An excerpt from the article, written by Joan Rivers's niece, who is also a journalist:
Coco and I had a lovely discussion about real estate in New York and North Jersey and the office she works out of on the Law & Order set, helping manage Ice-T’s career. Coco was wearing a demure—for Coco!—yellow sun dress, but still showed off all that is Coco. As Ice-T told us, “If you buy a Ferrari, you don’t drive it around all covered up.” Indeed!

Late last month Universal announced the July 29th release of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The 7th Year on DVD. We said at the time that we didn't know whether any extras would be included on this release, but now it seems we have the answer...and it's not good news. Universal has provided screen shots of all the main menu screens for each of the 5 discs in this collection, and they all look exactly like the one shown below. Notably missing from each of them is a choice for "Bonus Features", which indicates that this will be a bare-bones, extras-free set after all.
grrrr another season and NO extras......eff off DW and Universal
