The 2008 TLC Tugger Pro-Intact Song, Poetry, and YouTube Contest entries are in.

I would really appreciate your help and your support for the artists who took the time to create new works celebrating human rights.

We have 9 categories, but if you could vote for at least one that would mean a lot. Just go to this page http://TLCTugger.com/Song_Contest_Gallery_2008.htm and review all entries for any category. Then click its VOTE icon. I've made it easier this year; no logging in required.

Even the entrants in the uncontested categories would appreciate your support for their efforts. Voting is open throughout October. We'll know our winners about the same time we name the next US president.

Question About the TLC-X Oct. 2nd, 2008 @ 10:57 am
[info]elementmassacre
Recently I've been restoring with the traditional T-Tape method and am getting sick of removing the tape and cleaning the excess residue off on a daily basis. I also figured if I'm going to be doing this for years to come, I might as well invest some money into buying a product that would remove the need for tape and last indefinitely. I watched some of the videos on the TLC Tugger website and decided I'm going to buy one but I have some concerns. I was specifically drawn to the TLC-X because I'm trying to apply more tension to my inner foreskin but I was wondering if anyone has used this device and how it compares to the original TLC? On the website it said that this device could be used exactly like a regular TLC but my main concern is discomfort due to the glans being pushed down in order to create tension on the inner foreskin. Is this the primary mode of causing tension on the inner skin or does tugging on the device using a strap also add tension (alleviating some of the force put on the glans?). My other concern is that I'm bordering between a CI-1 and CI-2, is this enough skin to apply the cones properly? Another question I have is the effectiveness of the TLC compared with the T-Tape: are the both the same? And how much skin is required to the between the two cones to adhere properly? I'm just thinking that if the TLC requires a few cm of skin inside the cone, then that skin will not be in tension therefore effectively reducing the amount of skin that stretches and grows, slowing the process down. At this point though, I don't know if I'm just over analyzing things because I've never actually seen a TLC in person and tried it on so all of my assumptions might not be valid. I'm just a poor college student and want to make sure that I'm going to use what I pay for because $80 is a good deal of money to me. So if anyone has some comments on the TLC Tuggers, I'd love to hear it. Or if anyone's switched from T-Tapes to the TLC and has some personal experiences to share that would also be great.

-Thanks for your comments!

So um... I think I remember reading about a vitamin cream or something similar that can help make your skin a little more stretchy... does anyone know what I'm talking about?
My skin lately has become pretty tense. I think it has something to do with the weather.

Howard Stern to discuss restoration 8/20/08 listen free Aug. 15th, 2008 @ 12:34 am
[info]tlc_tugger
I have been invited to display my restored foreskin Wednesday morning on the Howard Stern Radio Show which reaches something like 10 million people on Sirius Satellite Radio. (Hear it free, see below). My participation might be as early as 7am NYC time. The show is rebroadcast 4 more times throughout the next 24-hours. There are televised highlights shown on the HowardTV on-demand digital cable service, usually within a day or two.

The Wednesday show will revolve around the bachelor party of actor George Takei (Star Trek's Mr. Sulu) who can finally wed his life partner thanks to the recent California ruling legalizing gay marriage. My participation is as a contestant in the "Prettiest Penis Contest" to be judged by George. I have no idea how many contestants they have recruited, but am confident when they see my foreskin retainer and restoration result some pro-intact discussion will ensue.

To those who say this spectacle may be beneath my dignity or that of our noble human rights struggle, I would say that Howard is probably the world's loudest pro-intact celebrity. He has often bemoaned all infant circumcision including his own, but has never made it a high-priority personal cause. I think this is because he doesn't want to depress his mostly-cut audience over something that happened to them which they can't improve upon. He doesn't seem to know how easy or worthwhile restoring is, but he will after Wednesday. Anyway, my penis is all over the internet already, so why not?

HEAR THE SHOW FOR FREE wherever you have a high-speed internet connection. Sirius.com offers one-time free 3-day online trials of their satellite radio service. You can go to http://Sirius.com and sign up early Tuesday to be all tested and ready to listen Wednesday.

Immediately after the 4-hour radio show, they have a "Wrap-Up Show" where some of Howard's subordinates discuss the day's events. *If* I win the contest they *could* have me in as a guest for that (double longshot). The wrap-up show is also rebroadcast throughout the day.

Share this news with anyone you like.

Warm Regards,

CI-1 (maybe CI-0!), how to begin? Jul. 12th, 2008 @ 04:43 pm
[info]veryblue1
I'm CI-1, if not CI-0. Sometimes I the sides get sore just from doing... uh... normal activities.

What would be a good technique to begin with? Any good links? Most of the links I see are for people who are CI-2 or CI-3 it seems, and for some reason most pages were from like 1998!

The other catch is I'm working 2 jobs and have family. And I drink a lot of water for health reasons. Water in, water out.

I'd love some suggestions.

Innter foreskin/mucous membrane Jul. 9th, 2008 @ 10:05 pm
[info]elementmassacre
Hey guys, recently I've gotten back to restoring and I'm trying to restore as much inner foreskin as I can but my left side has like 1.5 cm of inner foreskin while my right side only has like 2mm left. I just wanted to know from those who've restored to decent coverage what the difference is between the part of the glans touching the mucous membrane/inner foreskin vs the part of the glans touching regular outer shaft skin? Is the part touching mucous membrane much softer/more sensitive? And do you think its realistic for me to try to even out my inner foreskin on both sides with such a drastic difference between them? My main problem is that I can clearly tell that my left side feels much more sensitive and pleasurable than my right side so I was thinking if I grew more inner foreskin on the right it might even out. I've heard that inner foreskin grows at a much slower rate compared to the outer shaft skin. Is this difference significant? Like more than 1.5 or 2 times as slow? If I know it will work I'm pretty willing to take the longer haul for better results. Also, if I'm going to go through with evening out my inner foreskin on both sides, what is my best approach? Manual tugging or T-Taping one side higher than the other? I'd really appreciate some advice or personal opinion.

Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated

New to tugging Jun. 17th, 2008 @ 09:09 am
[info]abstrusedude
Hey guys,

I'm new to tugging, and decided to order a variety of products to see what would work for me. I ordered from TLCtugger.com, purchasing both the Canister Start-up Kit and the The TLC Tugger®. So far, I think I'm definately going to use the Canister kit, as I am apparently so very closely cut that I wasn't able to even get the Tugger on.

My question for you guys out there who have used these (or similar) products is whether you have issues with your scrotum getting tugged as well. For whatever reason, when I roll up the skin from my shaft in an effort to "tug", the underneath portion of the skin of my penis seems to be primarily composed of scrotum. I'm not really looking forward to stretching out my scrotum, as I think it's perfectly fine already!

Has anyone had similar issues?

(PS: today is day number one.)

And so it begins! Jun. 15th, 2008 @ 05:09 pm

Hello. I'm 22 years old and just recently discovered foreskin restoration. Like some of the other posts here, I never really thought or cared about my circumcision until I read up on it some.

About two days ago is when I first started, going with the T-Tape method. That was before I found this community. So I figured I'd ask. Is the T-Tape an inferior method now? I see a fair number of people pimping the TLC Tugger and other devices. Does the device make much difference, or is it just easy and comfort. So far, for the near 72 hours I've been wearing the T-Tape, I've not experienced any discomfort, though I find it hard to determine what is appropriate tension.

I'm starting out at a CI-2, as far as I can tell.

Any and all thoughts welcome!

Thanks

Hero

Hey everyone, just recently joined this group.

I am wondering if anyone could recommend a good device to use to help restore the foreskin? I keep reading about many different products, but can anyone recommend one that they have used?

Thank you very much!

Motivation for anybody that needs it. Apr. 24th, 2008 @ 11:45 pm
[info]timmytm
1 @ 800x600 )

Seeming full coverage, but do note how small I have to be to look as such. It'll be some time before I'm able to maintain full coverage regardless of flaccid size. (So to speak.)

Nonetheless, my tugging frequency has picked up lately since I've superceded my tugahoy with a tlctugger. (plugplugplug)

Variable Intensities. Mar. 23rd, 2008 @ 10:26 am
[info]timmytm
I recall at some point, there was a discussion on the efficacy of low-intensity long-duration tugging VS high-intensity short-duration tugging. As a matter of course, when I first started, by default I started long-duration, low intensity. I wanted to tug as MUCH as possible, and to do this, I had to have the tension as such to not irritate my penile shaft AND not fall off.

Times change.

It occurred to me recently that I can tug when I'm sitting on my ass in front of my computer doing nothing. It makes my nothing-time feel more productive. And since I'm awake and not "doing" anything - AND alone, I can tug at the highest tension I feel comfortable with. I thought, "Eh, better than nothing." I'm able to get in anywhere from an hour to a couple of hours of tugging in at night, and SOMETIMES I tug in the morning. With increased rest time, I've noticed my penile skin has absolutely no irritation.

I've been at a CI-5/6 when flaccid. I mean. The skin will STILL retract if I move too much, or if I become anything other than 100% flaccid. But I was taking pictures the other day, and I noticed, "Damn, that looks GOOD!" Rechecking the chart now, I'd say I'm around an upward potential of a CI-7.

What I take away from this is that any tugging is worthwhile, even if you do it a little bit at a time.

a lot of tugging questions Feb. 16th, 2008 @ 10:43 pm
[info]nocirc395
Hi

I normally tend to tug at least 2-4 hours a day pretty much everyday, after I tug at night, I have been wearing the yourskin cone to bed, and nothing during the day.

am I going to get any progress with this current schedule?

how do you prevent the new skin you grow from being really thin, or is that even something I should be concerned about?

for anyone who has come close to fully restoring, will the new skin stick to your shaft and glans similar to that on an uncut penis, or does it just hang there?

if I repeatedly wear the cone so my skin gets used to being against my shaft will it stay like that?

when completing the process, has anyone found anything that significantly helps to get a tight taper?

and if anyone has the time, ive been curious as to how long it has taken people to restore their foreskins to different extents, and how often they tugged ect. so if you could please tell me a little about your restoration process i'd appreciate that

I discovered foreskin restoration in October of 2001 somewhat by accident when I was searching for The Norm comic strip and found N.O.R.M instead. Up until my fateful discovery I never considered that foreskin restoration was possible, in fact never thought of it at all. I just accepted that I was circumcised, like a lot of kids in my generation, and some were not. The uncut kids looked funny, but I didn't feel any jealousy towards them, I just accepted that their parents decided not to cut, and mine did. It seemed a decision with little emotional or moral impact, like deciding on having fried eggs for breakfast instead of cereal. I didn't know what role the foreskin played in a man's daily life: protecting the glans, the gliding actions in sex, etc. I read the N.O.R.M site eagerly that fateful day in 2001 and spent a good portion of the day searching all over the web for as much information as I could get, rather than working. The more I read, the more I could feel an excitement building in my chest, the more I thought about it, the more right it felt for me to try restoring too. Something that was out of the realm of possibility through a long-held and little analyzed belief suddenly became very possible.

SInce then, I've restored in fits and starts. That very first day, after work, I went to the store and got the materials to make T-tapes. I enthusiastically tugged for several months with little or no break, but after a while I became discouraged by the speed of my progress, the hassle involved in making and applying the tapes. I would take longish breaks in my regimen, if you could call it that. During my breaks, a couple of which lasted 6 months or more, I would research alternative methods of restoration. As a result, I've gone from T-tapes to the Tug-Ahoy, to the Recap-EZ and Recap-DTL to the CATII-Q. All of these methods had their positives and negatives. The overriding factor that led me to abandon a given regimen was how much it was an inconvenience during the day. I do the majority of my tugging time during the work day so ease of use was high on my list of requirements. My enthusiasm for tugging and restoration waxed and waned with each new device or method. There would be a honeymoon period, followed by a period discovering the negatives and gettng annoyed by dealing with same, followed by a gradual decrease in use. With T-tapes, after about 6 months, the 3M micropore tape wouldn't hold more than an hour before slipping off. Switching to Rejuveness helped for a short time, but even that tape wouldn't hold.  The Tug Ahoy, my first tapeless tugger, was better in that I eliminated the time and effort in making and applying T-tapes, but man, would it pinch after a few hours. It also started to disintegrate from repeated cleanings. (Note, this was before the patent, and before he changed his materials). I then tried the Recap-EZ and really liked it, but it's not really designed for use under clothes and the base of shaft would get really pinched over the course of a few hours.

After that, I didn't restore for almost a good year. I tried doing t-tapes for a week or so, but the tape still didn't stick for any long period of time and my heart just wasn't in it. Since my family was in the process of relocating to a different part of the country, I decided to revisit tugging after we were situated in our new city.

By this time, I had progressed from CI-1 to pretty much a solid CI-2.

A year ago, I rediscovered the CATII-Q device and ordered it. I've been really happy with it and with the progress I've made since. Of all the devices I've used, it's the most comfortable and convenient to use for me. I'm now a solid CI-3 and have become enthusiastic, again, about making noticeable progress over time. The key thing that FINALLY clicked in my brain about all of this is consistency. Tug every day. Get at least 2 or 3 hours in every day and you'll see progress. In the past I would be discouraged if the device or tape I used didn't last more than 3 hours and the next day I wouldn't tug because I was discouraged by the short time the day previous. This is how a week or a month would pass between tugging periods.

I keep my regimen flexible. I make every effort to wear the CATII every day. I sometimes use the Recap-DTL at night for an extra hour or two before bed, definitely on days when I don't wear the CAT. I don't sweat it if I miss a day for whatever reason. Sometimes circumstances don't allow for tugging. That's fine. I've finally made peace with the fact that this is a long term project, with a lot of baby steps. it feels right and good to be tugging and the devices are integrated into my daily routine such that its all habit now.

The important thing is to just 'Keep on tugging!'

Complete loss of sensitivity Jan. 29th, 2008 @ 01:21 pm
[info]elementmassacre
hey guys Im not sure if this is the place for this post but since everyone here is circumcised I figured maybe someone might share this problem I've had for years now... My penis is very insensitive to a point where I barely feel it (my fingers are more sensitive). I have sex on a regular basis, who knows how many times, and yet I've never come once during sex (oral, intercourse, handjob) and I'm convinced it is due to my circumcision. My frenulum doesn't line up correctly to the bottm of my penis, its like 1/5th of a turn off. Is there any way that that could cause damage to nerves in the penis, severing ties to nerves that are responsible for feeling in the glans? I'm very desperate for a solution to this because its causing me to go flaccid during sex because of lack of feeling and my girlfriend misinterprets it as a lack of attraction. Does anyone have this problem? Are there any recommendations anyone has for me that may improve my situation? And for those who think its psychological, I assure u its not. This is a purely physical problem. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I'd be grateful. Thanks for ur time guys

Hey everyone,

Recently a friend of mine stayed with me. One night i was in the bathroom applying a film canister tugging device before bed and my friend walked in on me. He freaked out and had no idea what I was doing. I was embarrassed at first and then explained myself. After spending half an hour browsing the tlc tugger's home page with him containing very helpful links, he understood and became very enthusiastic about tugging himself. He is now tugging faithfully.

He asked me later if it was better to apply tension for a long amount of time for faster results, or apply shorter sessions of tension periodically for better results.

Anyone personally experience a method that works better?

hey... Jan. 16th, 2008 @ 09:46 pm
[info]seana5

hey everyone...

Just like the last person who posted... I'm 15 and unhappy with my circumcision. I found out about foreskin restoration about a week ago. I know it takes a very long time and effort. I don't really have a way to buy anything for this, mostly because I don't want anyone to find out (especially my parents.. they'd either think I'm mad at them about having me cut or think I'm gay or weird or something).

I started manual-tugging at least twice a day, and 'cross-taping' at night using this self-adhesive bandage stuff (doesn't stick to anything but itself). The bad thing about this is that I have to cut new strips of it every night because it looses its stick, and I'm running low on it.

I've noticed very subtle difference already. When flaccid what's left of my butchered foreskin almost touched the end of my glans, and now it just barely does. It also feels a bit more loose.

My questions are:

1) Is it really safe to do this while going through puberty?

2) Are there any other ways or things I can 'make' to speed this up a little. Also, since I'm going through puberty and all.. I usually get hard when I try to apply the cross-tape or start manual-tugging... so any way that a boner won't screw up would be great :/

Announcing the TLC-X Tugger Jan. 1st, 2008 @ 02:30 pm
[info]tlc_tugger
I'm delighted to announce the versatile new TLC-X by TLC Tugger:
http://www.tlctugger.com/prodTLC-X.htm

It's a soft silicone tapeless conical tugger system which allows you to extend the inner section against the glans for extra inner tension.

You can also wear it without straps, like a dynamic version of the TLC Packer.

The extension of the inner part can be achieved in three ways.
- A set screw can determine a fixed extension length
- Rubber bands can be used for dynamically responsive extension
- An inner spring can be added for the most compact bi-directional tension system available.

Like all TLC Tuggers, it's made of food-grade silicone with stainless metal parts, and carries a 1-year warranty plus a 3-months no-questions-asked refund policy.

See demo videos:
http://www.tlctugger.com/Media/TLC-X_Tugger_Demo.wmv
http://www.tlctugger.com/Media/TLC-X_Tugger_Strapless-with-Elastic.mpg

I'd like to thank the dozens of users who have worn the Beta version for the last couple months. If that's you and you haven't been upgraded to the final spec, let me know.

Cheers,
-Ron Low
