Notes: Just trying to fight off the worst case of writer's block I've ever had. This might be considered a prologue to Lunar Reflections, but my hope is that it also stands on it's own.

Hi everyone,
I have come to notice that there are no decent sites for femslash recs for the Harry Potter fandom. While these communities are good, it's so difficult to find a fic because they're all over the place and hard to access via livejournal. Even though Sycophant Hex has a section for femslash, there's only about 20 fics archived there. I'd like to make a website (just a free one, doesn't have to be complicated or anything) where people can simply go and find all the femslash fanfiction sorted by pairing, with comprehensive lists of fics that exist. Does anyone feel like they'd like to do this with me, or have any comments whatsoever?

Once again, there's a shortage of people to rec femslash fics & art at Crack_broom. This is bad because:
a) the hot girl on girl action - er, I mean the deep, meaningful romance - that gets posted in this community doesn't get pimped to the rest of HP fandom, &
b) the femslash 'ship' is liable to be removed at Crack_broom due to lack of interest. Thus no more femslash pimpage there ever :-(
SO, if you think you could recommend at least 4 femslash fics (or a maximum of 8 fics and 2 optional art pieces) during the month of October then the signup is here . If you think you could rec femslash in the following months then the signup is here . It isn't a huge time commitment & you don't need to have any experience recc-ing stuff - you just need to know what you like, be able to share your enthusiasm with other people & approximately follow the community rules.
Are you convinced yet? No? For added incentive, I'll write a drabble for the first two folks who sign up to rec for a month, provided ya give me a femslash pairing and a prompt. If I had any Veela!sparkles then I'd use 'em, but unlike Ms Fleur Weasley I don't. Those Veela!sparkles sure are useful; I know cos I've read some great stories about it. Hi everyone,
There is this really good Ginny/Hermione multi-chapter over in Fanfiction.net. I've read it before and I wanted to read it again but stupid me, forgot to bookmark it and now i can't find it again. All i remember is that its got around 20 chapters (i think) and the summary says something like "she was the unattainable ice-queen". The story starts off with Ginny (a prefect) catches Hermione (who is actually Head Girl) out and about after curfew with some girl. Later on in the story, I remember Hermione having to take medication from Fleur, who is her step-mother or something. Oh and Harry is thrown somewhere in the story as well. I'm sorry but that's all I remember, so please if you know what story i'm talking about please leave me a comment, or even if you've read a really good fic of Ginny/Hermione and would like to share with me is fine too. sorry to bother this community, i've been around the Harry potter femslash community since 2003 and have watched lots of good stories disappear. As such i'm asking this community if the remember or have a copy of an older fic that i want to preserve and re-read.
Premise is Hermione and Ginny sharing erotic dreams together. Disturbed by them, they are eventually drawn together by them. It also has a Sirius/Remus pairing, who give advice two Hermione and Ginny.
Once again, sorry to waste such valuable space with this, i just really miss this fic.

A lot of folks will know about this already, but in case you don’t know there is a Harry Potter conference called Azkatraz happening in San Francisco in July 2009. The call for proposals has just opened and I’m really hoping there will be some femslash programming, which means somebody needs to propose some and then talk about it. I’m wondering if anyone has submitted or is planning to submit a paper / panel / workshop etc about femslash. Could you give me a heads up if you have, so that I know that the femslashy programming is all taken care of & I shouldn't submit a similar proposal. Otherwise, would anyone be interested in participating in a roundtable or discussion panel about femslash? One possibility would be to get a bunch of authors, artists and/or readers who want to talk about femslashing a particular character (for instance I love Ginny-centric femslash but you might be all about Luna, or Hermione, or Madam Hooch), or maybe about particular pairings (so long as it didn’t turn into a ship war). What do people think?
