Would anyone here happen to know what a Beauxbatons uniform looks like?
I was thinking basically the same thing as a Hogwarts student except a blue robe and blue jumper with black stripes going across the neck color and the waist.

There are pictures at Muggle.net I believe. They had screen caps from the trailer of GOF. Someone else should be able to post a picture.

We haven't seen much of the Beauxbatons uniforms yet - as far as I can remember, there's only been this shot from the teaser:



Seems like it's a drastically different uniform (unless this is a formal outfit of some sort; we don't know yet). Cornflower blue dress/blouse with an empire waist, high neck, and maybe some sort of buttoned placket (look at the girl on the left), matching short cape with a darker blue contrast color, and a hat that's gonna be a pain to duplicate. :p No idea what the Beauxbatons boys wear, since there's only girls there.

I started a reference page for GoF costumes a few weeks back, so any new pictures that are helpful will wind up here.

There won't be any boy's uniforms, because in the movie Beauxbatons is an all-girls school, just like Durmstrang is all-boys.

Juging from the other pictures and this one it looks to be a knee length dress, tight knit fishnets and flat shoes. You might get away with finding a regular blue fedora from any hat shop and seeing if he could alter it for you. Otherwise wearing it on a tilt is fine.Looks like buttons on the dress from chest to neck.

The book said a few times that their uniforms were made of silk and judging from how they move, they might have used silk in the film.

It looks like an overcoat of somekind with pointy colar. (Which I really like).

Offtopic: if they are an all girl school... where in the world do far western european boys go? ...kind of sad if they are regulated to Drumstag...

The Hogwarts robes are based on traditional British school uniforms. Some research into traditional French school uniforms might give additional details into what the Beauxbatons uniform is like.

Found some!A full-length shot, but they're moving and a closeup with hats! and there's a few in the corner . I remember seeing them wear black and white spectator shoes somewhere too, but I can't remember where...
