I want to thank you all for the positive responses to our previous post for auditions to find a Dr. Gregory House / Hugh Laurie impersonator with Concept Galaxy.

With that said, for those who are interested in attending, this is a reminder that they're this coming Saturday on July 26th, 2008 at The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.

I just remembered a song from House, and I can hear snippets of it in my head, and for the life of me I cannot remember the song, artist, or the episode.

It arrives at the beginning of an episode in Season 4, it is black and white, House's radio alarm goes off which is when the song begins, he wakes up and his leg is in pain and he sits on the bed rubbing it. The song is really soft and gorgeous.

Please! The first person who can help me solve my mental anguish is my savior!

Edit: I just found it myself. I was WAY off. It was S2E13 "Skin Deep" and the song is "Desire" by Ryan Adams.

We are holding auditions for a Dr. Gregory House impersonator/Look-a-like for a Anime Convention in St. Augistine, Florida.

What would Dr. House have to do with an Anime Convention in the Sunshine State?

Anime X Gamer Experience and the theme is going to be coordinated by Concept Galaxy, who knows what will happen when we call for an audition for a Jack Thompson impersonator within a crowd of video game aficionados? (this will get far more complicated than confirming that it really isn't lupus)

I've been very interested in House's wardrobe for a long time, namely his shoes and designer tees. Reason enough to spend some time sorting out what is what in that messy but expensive closet of his.

If you've always wanted to know what the name of those shoes is in episode XXX, so you can go out and buy them for yourself, because they are just cool (or avoid buying them because you find them so ugly, as the case might be), then this post is for you. Same goes for the designer shirts.

There was a question in "House's Head" during the hypnosis scene. I think it has spoilerific potential for season five or at least might provoke a little conjecture, so I made a cheezy video to elaborate upon and ponder the imponderable.

What the Survivor Arc Tells Us About Dr. Gregory House


The substantive difference between words and deeds is one of House, MD’s most important themes. Wrapped in a medical procedural package, and occasionally bordering on comedy, the series is essentially a detailed character study of one of the most complex characters ever written for television (and certainly network television).

House is played by the ever-amazing Hugh Laurie (please forgive my entirely forgivable use of hyperbole), each week peeling back minute facets of this intricately crafted character, letting us glimpse the wounded, intellectual and deeply sensitive man beneath the sarcasm, cynicism, rudeness, and labyrinthine game-playing of his façade.

Left at the end of season three with no team, House, under pressure from Wilson and Cuddy, set out to hire a new staff. The “hiring arc,” also known as House Survivor lasted for eight episodes (not counting the season premiere). Had this been a “normal” 24 episode season, it would have taken up only a third of the season four narrative. As it played out, however, with the season delivering only 16 episodes, the “survivor” arc spanned half the season, giving it too much weight and not quite enough room for everything else that might have gone into the series' fourth season. A very good (but slightly lopsided) season might have been exceptional had the full slate of 24 episodes aired. (The nine post-“survivor” arc episodes contained some the series’ best, including “Frozen,” and the breathtaking finale episodes “House’s Head” and “Wilson’s Heart.”)

On the other hand, the “survivor” arc serves to give us some insight into the "real" House; what he values and what he does not value in a medical colleague; how he thinks, and even how he feels. And it gives us a rare extended glimpse of House, the teacher.

The idea for this project, which will be sent to the Cast,Crew, Writers and producers,came from the Fox Forum where a recent thread spoke to the episode "One Day, One Room" and how it helped one fan with a very serious incident in her life.

Any show which can have that sort of impact on one, surely has touched other lives in a meaningful way.

We'd like the writers, producers and cast to know the difference they have made in your lives and so we are opening up this discussion thread to anyone who wants to share their story with us.

We plan on printing out the stories and sending them bound with some gorgeous fan art work to the show and hope they find your stories as inspirational as we do.

Your stories can be serious or humorous.Has "House" helped you in any way with a problem or personal issue in your life? Please share them with other fans and the cast & crew of House.

Hey, I just made my first House fanvid and I figured I'd show it off here. It's set to the song 'The Arm' by Islands, and flip flops between clips from House's Head and Wilson's Heart, so spoiler alert if you haven't seen those episodes already.

I'm looking for any screen caps of Wilson standing with his hands placed on his hips, which he seems to do quite often. That stance. I don't care what seasons or episodes the shots are from, any will do, although it's preferrable if he is wearing a suit. Sorry for the strange request, I won't be offended if this entry is deleted due to its uselessness. I just couldn't think of anywhere else to post this, and there are so many times he does that particular gesture, I don't even know where to look! I would appreciate any help.

I was watching through my House DVDs and I had just started on Season 3. I have a question about Episode 04 (Lines in the Sand).

Would anybody happen to know the particular game(s) that Adam was playing on his PSP during the duration of the episode? There was the game he was playing when Foreman was trying to get him to do an MRI that looked like it was a going through a jungle path and (I think) there's a different one involving crossing a road that House was playing when he was in the patient's room and lying on his bed. (Or it could be the same game, I'm not sure.) I have a PSP myself and I'm kinda interested because well, it does look rather fun.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)
