Er...hi.
I'm really new at Livejournal stuff, kinda new to Fullmetal Alchemist, and sort of new to fanfiction. But I'm just so glad there's a good papa!roy community here. God, I hate it when every time two boys/men on an anime interact, it has to be yaoi! Blah!
By the way, this is probably a really stupid question, but...how do you post any of your fanfiction here? I don't whether it's under picture upload or something else...I'm really confused. XD

I don't know if there's been a post about this (I just didn't want this group to die, and I'm not done with a fanfic I'm writing), but the second novel, The Abducted Alchemist, is one giant Papa!Roy fandom fanfic. Seriously. Beyond just the first scene that's obvious. The author is so a Papa!Roy fan. And Ed ALMOST admits that he thinks of Roy as a bit of a father figure to him. However, the translation is crap. You have been warned. But at this point, I'm too busy going *squee* to really care about the not-so-brilliant english. |

This does take place later in the same timeline as Beautiful Flames and its (very unfinished) sequel Healing Flames, so reading those is encouraged but not mandatory.

I love Alphonse to PIECES and I know that Edward would be absolutely DEVASTATED were he ever to lose him. I’m also sure that, in the wake of such a tragedy, he wouldn’t have the time or energy to reconsider his sexual orientation. XD;; Sorry. But those fics piss me off more than words can say.
On that note, I give you Papa!Roy!

It's by the same circle as Oniisan Hiyori, so it's got the same kind of Olderbrother!Roy cuteness.
Roy throws an office party for all the guys, and eventually everyone but Roy and Ed get partied out. Roy lets Ed have some alcohol, and eventually Ed dozes off too. Suddenly Hughes appears as a ghost, Ed wakes up, and the three of them go for a walk. Lots of cuteness and talking happens. Hughes finally disappears, Ed falls asleep, and Roy has to carry Ed back to the office. Riza's there, and she's pissed that the office is a mess. The next morning, everyone gets to clean the office, and Roy remembers the previous night.

I'm kinda curious to know what everybody's favorite papa!roy scene was. (so far if you haven't seen till the end)
Mine is when Riza almost runs over Ed with the car she is driving and Ed and Roy talk of where they are heading next. Also that Roy probably wouldn't be anywhere near HQ if he didn't hear that 'the elric brothers have been captured'. XD |
