Hello there. It's been a bit crazy here, going through two maintainers already, but I hope that this community will survive. I'm Kati, your new maintainer, and ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mommydearst is another mod.
I'm going to keep the same challenge going that the previous mod had, you can submit here. There's no deadline at this point, I'm going to go around and promote a lot, get some affiliates, etc, and then I'll end the challenge.
I've also changed a few of the rules, such as asking for a banner. You'll all get banners unless you specify that you don't want one. I'll be making the banners for the last challenge as soon as I set up my computer (it's in boxes after moving out of my dorm). Also, you ARE allowed to vote for your own icon. It'd be dumb not to.

*sigh* I'm sorry guys, but I can't keep moding this community. School is getting more and more demanding, and the lack of participation is really getting to me. I tried to make this icontest work, but it's not big enough to have decent contests and I don't think it's fair to those who enter.
I had this contest going for 2 weeks and we only got one entry. What point is there to keep this community open if I'm just going to keep delaying the same challenge?
So unless someone is up to it and thinks they can fix up this community, I'm going to close it down. Any takers?

Hey all! I'm you knew mod here at gstate_chorus. hopelessfangirl is the co-mod, so you'll probably see her posting around here, too. I've loved Garden State since before it was even in theaters, and the music in it makes it that much more special.
So here's this week's song:

A pretty perfect song for Garden State, if you ask me. And the fact that it's acoustic makes it that much more amazing.

I'm giving up my spot as Maintainer for the community. It's too much stress, and I can't keep being irresponsible with the posts like I've been. It's not fair to you all.
Unless there's someone that would like to take up maintenance, I'll put the community on hiatus until Summer Vacation, when I'll have more time to sit down and pay attention to the challenges and posts.
