I temporarily closed grafikitty from accepting new affiliates some weeks ago because I wanted to re-sort and clean up the current list of affiliates, and that I’ve already done. I’ve also decided to set a few rules when it comes to both old and new affiliates so that I can keep the list as orderly and updated as possible, and to make sure the link exchanges are maintained.

Wow, a new kind of offering from grafikitty?! Yeah! I’ll be posting layouts from now on, too. :D

I’ve been thinking about sharing layouts here for a long time now, but I was hesitating because I’m no web design expert and I see that there are much prettier layouts available out there. Still, I thought I should go right ahead in case there’ll be people who’ll like or find use with whatever I come up with. Anyway, that’s my philosophy behind everything I post here in the first place.

Layout Style: S2 Flexible Squares
Template: Organizational
Themes: 3 total - Periwinkle Rip, Casual Friday and Overtime
Account Types: All - Basic/Free, Plus/Sponsored and Paid
• Tested in Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 6. Best viewed in Firefox with at least 1024x768 screen resolution.
• All journal views fully customized -- entries, archives, etc. and comments (for Plus and Paid accounts).
• Userpics on entries; default userpic disabled in sidebar.
• Works fine with LJ’s navigation strip and ads (in Plus accounts).

I originally made this template for personal use here at grafikitty, but then I felt it had potential to be customized further. So I did just that then I decided to make it my first shareable layout.
It’s pretty simple. I just wanted to “clean up” the Flexible Squares layout and make it more orderly, thus the template’s name. And I prepared 3 themes so people can choose. I guess I’m a variation freak in anything I do. :þ
BTW, this is only an index page for the different themes. I had to post the stylesheets in separate entries and I backdated them so I won’t spam anyone’s Flist. Just click on the thumbnails below for larger previews.
