Happy Valentine's Day! I come bearing something I wrote last year but never posted. For those of you who don't know James Hogg, the book is set in early 18th century Scotland and is a prime example of the convoluted writing style of early paranormal/murder mystery novels.
It's not really romantic so much as romance period, but I figured that was close enough! Also a little bit of A/C fluff if you look for the subtext.
Fandom Crossover: Good Omens, James Hogg's Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner.

I am an omnivorous fan, if it's SF,F or A I'll probably at least like it. But I don't have cable (lucky to have internet) so that mean I haven't seen enough of some shows I like very much, such as Highlander and Stargate SG1. I don't know the shows well enough to make use of the best possible angles.
I'm chewing over in my mind a short (God, I hope it stays short) multi-crossover with BtVS. Buffy & Faith would end up snatched off world by the Goa'uld. I need an intermediary for the Goa'uld, someone or something that wouldn't mind blowing away everyone around the Slayers just to get at them.
So far it would be BtVS/SG1/Highlander/The Crow, with probable hat tips to others.

Welcome to neutral_omens, or should we say welcome to Tadfield Manor? A haven for immortals, Adam the Antichrist has decided to ensure peace in his corner of the world, a place just outside London called Lower Tadfield. He runs a hotel out of an abandoned Satanic hospital, and now it is filled with angels, demons, gods, the occasional werewolf, the Them, the Horsepeople of the Apocalypse, witches and wizards. No one envies him the task.
"Twenty-odd characters, half a dozen fandoms, one house... and an Apocalypse just around the corner. Survivor only wishes it was this good."
It is a multi-fandom rpg with Good Omens as a central fandom. Currently supported fandoms include Hellblazer, American Gods, Harry Potter, and Sandman, but those are just to start. For Good Omens - After the Apocalypse, year 2000. The Them are turning twenty-one. For Harry Potter - Harry Potter is an amnesiac. There's still a war with Voldemort, but it's set after the sixth book. It's the year 2000. Harry's turning twenty.
It would be great to have more Good Omens characters (particularly Anathema), but any other characters are fine as long as they are plausible with the setting. We can be flexible.

Rating: PG-13, I think. There's plenty of innuendo, but nothing graphic. Maybe an R though, because of excessive bad taste in several instances. After all, there are multiple Mary-Sue insertions, as well as a character named Mary-Sue. There is Professor Flitwick slash. Lucius Malfoy gets knocked up by an alien. Percy Weasley gives birth. Also, Aziraphale and Crowley keep the neighbors from sleeping, because of all their loud noises.
Pairings: Crowley/Aziraphale, Sirius/Remus, Mary-Sue/Colin Creevey, Narcissa/maid, Lucius Malfoy/Alien, Elizabeth/Will, Miriam/Draco, and most horrible of all, Millicent Bulstrode/Professor Flitwick. Since there isn't a sane plot, there isn't a sane ending.
Word Count: 4,218
Summary:: Good Omens/Discworld/Lord of the Rings/Pirates of the Caribbean crossover.
Ok, this story needs a bit of an introduction. I co-wrote it with Dreya_Uberwald in comment form, and we have a few private jokes. First, we have formed a sclub called the Barking Mad Circle. We are the leaders, and we have a lot of imaginary minions. We spend our time revising the very complicated Charter, and forcing the minions to conform to an obsessive compulsive standard of living, which we created just to annoy them.
Also, I'm Miriam, and I'm refered to as the Angst Fairy. Dreya is refered to as the Fluff Fairy.
It's a long story.
