multiple bleach processing dreads [October 11th, 2008 @7:48 PM] jezabe1l alright so before I dreaded my hair I bleached my hair out from a red color. I had to do it a total of 3 times to get it to the color it was. I tried to bleach out the roots of my dreads last night and am unhappy with the results, so (after checking the memories extensively to no avail) I am asking you guys how long should I wait to bleach the roots again. I am using just a box bleach I bought at the store because I'm cheap and it's what I'm used to doing. I also have read lish's wonderful text on bleaching/dying dreads but it doesnt cover what I am talking about. I would also like to add that I don't go over the parts that have already been bleached in my dreads I just want to do the roots. read (1) comment | edit

Wool + Dye. [October 11th, 2008 @11:44 AM] carrre I checked the memories, but couldn't find anything about this: I have wool felted into my hair in a few places, and I'm thinking of dying my hair either blue or green [just over my natural hair color, I think].
