Audio quality improves massively from this episode on.
Topics include: 20th birthday of the PC Engine, KOF96 and SNK bosses, Gundam F91 versus Gundam 00, FFXII is busted, the game industry is more expensive than the defense industry. Also, VF5 lag-free?, first GFR shirt, an actual GFR website!?
Also, the feed has moved! If you are using iTunes it should have forwarded you already, and you probably didn't even notice. If you are using another RSS reader, that probably didn't happen so here is the new info:

The bad news is that there are major Skype audio problems in some sections of this episode. The good news is that Battle 2: Episode 8 has already been recorded using a new method, and GFR will from then on sound better than ever before. Look for that one in a few days.
For now:
Portal (Flash), Jam Sessions (DS), Halo 3 (360), board games on 360, King of Kong, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Coyote Ragtime Show, Mother 3 (GBA), Nodame Cantabile (DS), Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, Family Guy Pinball (arcade), Bleach DS in the US, a $40 demo of Turismo 5 (PS3), how the Wii is doing, and Street Fighter 4 speculation.
Skip the Mother 3 chapter if you don't want spoilers.

Here we discuss Touchdown! The Alien Attack (DS), Dive Alert (NGP), console to handheld linking and why it seems to always suck. Also, the popularity of flash carts, what's happening to Sega these days.

Show notes are only in the episode now.
File size has almost doubled due to the inflexability of the otherwise amazing new version of Garageband. I'll try to change this in the future. It'll sound better now though, for sure. Episodes are enhanced AAC from now on due to the inflexabilty of the otherwise amazing new version of me. That won't change.
