Sometimes found objects come with instructions, and rewards!

Another thrift store find. $5. It looked like just another old Samsonite briefcase. But it felt like it was full of bricks:

And where it should have said "Samsonite" it said "Computone":

And where it should have had nothing it had a three prong power jack and a parallel port:

And when I opened it up, to my delight, I found an acoustic coupled modem, (the kind you put the phone handset on to connect) a dot matrix printer, and lots of buttons and switches:

And, a bank of 64 clicky little rotary numeric input dials:

"It can be only one thing!" I thought, "Some sort of 1970s secret CIA spy encoded communicator device!"
But then I noticed the program cartridges and the guide cards, with labels like "Extra Initial Premium Paid" and "Financial Need Analysis":

Well, they could be a traveling insurance salesman AND a secret CIA spy, couldn't they?
