Does anyone know where I can get their EP When You're Alone, You're Not Alone?

I really want it, but I can't find it anywhere. Even just some of the songs would be ok and not the whole thing.

[ mood | excited ]

I've been kinda worried about the boys with no word from them.  So when I went to see This Providence I had a chance to talk to Daniel Young and he dished some secrets about their new record.  Hmmmmm very interesting stuff!  Seems they have it mostly recorded.  He said what he's heard is amazing (of course).  I'm so excited and I can't wait to hear it.  Maybe Jan-Feb release.  Also he said that when they finish maybe four months later they hope to record a third album for reasons that will be revealed.  Dum da dum dum.

In a couple weeks when This Providence finishes their tour they will take some time off to record their next album.  It may just be that timing would be right for the two bands to tour together this summer ??  *crosses fingers*  Nothing would make me happier.

I do wish we could get an update, maybe some teaser or something!?

It's become way too quiet here. *cue crickets*

btw AP this is just conversation between friends, not fact for an article.

FORGIVE DURDEN at Bamboozle

Since we got there early we got right up to the front of the barricade with just one row in front of us. I took lots of beautiful pictures while they were setting up which you can see here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8188362@N03/
(sorry, you can just ignore the All Time Low pictures if you want, but I wouldn't if I were you). I didn't take any pictures while they performed because I was singing along and enjoying their show too much to have the distraction of a camera. Ahhhh I was so happy to watch them! They started with a song I’ve never heard. Then rolled into their set including: The Great Affair, Ear to Ear, Ants, Harry Frazee, For a Dreamer, Beware of the JubJub, and of course they closed with Il Tango. I was so excited they played Harry, they didn’t play it in Atlanta and it’s my FAVORITE! So yay! By the middle of the set, we were first on the barricade. I was a little frustrated with the girl to the right of me who kept shoving me for space on the barricade which I gladly would have shared with her had she known even one song! But she didn’t so I stood firm. Since it was the first time for my friends to see them I enjoyed Big T even more than usual. Crazy Big T such a joy to watch! Their show was AMAZING as always! The four girls with me who had never seen them are now fans and bought CD's. Yay for newbies!!

Later in the day I checked their merch table and there was Big T! So I said hello and told him they were great! I asked him about the Hit the Lights tour and what was coming up. He said they will take the summer off and write a new record. He said they hope for it to be out in the fall and be touring again by winter. I asked about the first song and said I’d never heard it. He said it wasn’t really a song, just something new they put together. I asked for his picture and he said "oh yeah!" and came around the table, put his arm around me and we snapped a shot together. It came out nice.. ha ha he said he looked like a hobo and I said "awww that’s a good thing!" So I was happy. He signed my Bamboozle map too. I asked if Thomas and the others were going to be around and he said yes that I should check back later.

I did check back later and was happy to see Thomas behind the merch table this time. I've been kicking myself since January when I stupidly didn't talk to him. So I just walked up and said "Hi, loved your set this morning." I told him I had spoken to Big T earlier and was glad to hear that they would be recording a new album this summer. I asked if it was going to be another concept album. He said he wasn’t sure that it wasn’t planned that way but neither was Wonderland. I told him how much I enjoyed their music and we laughed about the teeny tiny stage in Atlanta. I asked him to sign my Bamboozle map and for a picture. He asked his friend to take the picture. He said thanks for stopping by to say hello… and I was off.

If you don't want to check out all the pictures, at least check out this one... it's my favorite! Yes, you can use it for an icon if you want... I dare you not to save it!

I did see others in the crowd singing along and excited to be watching Forgive Durden... I'd love to hear from you guys too!

Denise

Sorry for all the edits, the stupid LJ put my second paragraph first... hope it works this time.  Kinda confusing to read from the end to the beginning.  Also the links weren't links so I had to fix.  LOL
