So, I actually came up with an idea for Vincent's birthday meme! With any luck, actually having a plot will draw more attention...

Here's the rough plot idea I have:

Vincent Valentine has put up with a heck of a lot in fandom. He's been raped, abused, raped, forced to crossdress, raped by animals, tortured, humiliated, dominated, abused some more, raped by monsters, been written badly, and (just for a change of pace) raped some more. And bless the man, he never complains much.

This year, we thought it'd be nice to give him a present--getting his own back.

Our favorite Gothic gunman has his gun, his spine, his libido, and he's set out to recover his dignity next. He'll be taking his revenge--in one form or another. But whatever form of revenge he chooses, the men who have taken advantage of him up until now are in for a surprise...

Here's how it works: Vincent will be confronting numerous characters/creatures from FFVII(I suspect it'll just be the male ones, since this is a yaoi comm). How he deals with them is up to you--but Vincent has had enough angst in his life, so if possible please keep the mood light. He may smack the character around, prove that he really CAN be seme, or do something so original I can't even think of it yet. Claim the character you want to write him with and get writing. =D

EDIT: People have asked me when the due date for this is; the answer is that this isn't supposed to be homework, it's just something you do for fun, so there is no set due date. ^_^ Naturally, it'd be nice if the ficcage started coming in as soon as possible, but life happens.

Second, I have no webspace of my own, so sadly these fic bits aren't going to be featured on a webpage; instead, I'll be making one more post to this community and the fic bits will go in the comments there.

Finally, a helpful suggestion from [info]shiva_chan has led me to create a list of victims characters who have yet to be claimed. Those who -have- been claimed are crossed out.

EDIT EDIT: The finished fic bits are going to be linked to the names of the claimed characters. Hojo's and Cloud's are done so far!

No due date. =D Frankly, I'm the worst bloody procrastinator to ever think about maybe walking the earth tomorrow, if I get around to it, so I've got no right at all to talk about deadlines. Now, I'd like for ficcage to start pouring in soon, but that's certainly not a requirement.

Sounds like fun! However... I have no clue at all of who I would put Vincent with... Maybe you could come with a small list of hints? I don't know... Vincent's had tons of things done to him by lots of people in the fandom...

I just remember the Uke-Cloud had a list of characters to choose from... it's easier...

If I ever come up with anyone I'll let you know ^^

Good idea! I'll post the list here first, to help you out, then I'll go edit my post to add it there.

(Note: Almost every single guy from FFVII is open because frankly, I'm sure doujinshi or fic exists -somewhere- with them doing nasty things to Vincent.)

T__T I saw a Yin-Yang(s)xVincent doujinshi before, and I got traumatized. Somebody should take the Yin-Yang. Vincent needs to blow up at least one of them.</p>

I'll admit I've never seen Chocobo/Vincent, but come on--the man was raped by Yin-Yang. I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

Also, revised list in the OP includes the male Turks, whom I forgot. *suddenly remembers Rufus and runs off to add him too*

I swear, if you look hard enough you can find fic or doujinshi of EVERYTHING MALE IN FFVII doing something sexual to Vincent against his will.

The only reason I'm not throwing Palmer and Heidigger into the mix is because dear sweet Jesus on a pogo stick, nobody wants to see that.

*nods* Despite being an ex-Turk with a gun and metal claws and no less than four demons on his side. Seriously, just because he's pretty and has long hair does not make him a girl--and even if he was a girl, he's got enough going for him that I seriously doubt a would-be rapist would have anything left to rape with by the time Vincent got done with them. The only rape scenario with Vincent that I could -ever- see making sense would be after Hojo shot him and had him at his mercy--otherwise, Vincent would usually be able to take care of himself.

Also, AAGH THE MENTAL IMAGES. *scrubs brain*

My Vincent vs. Hojo smackdown is done; click here to read it (and don't ask me where the title came from... it just sort of popped into my head, much like the main thrust of the plot ^_^). Not a lemon, just pretty offbeat-- much like the piece I did for the Cloud's Birthday meme.

Nice! A little more angsty than I'd hoped, but to be honest, I can hardly think of a way for a Hojo-Vincent encounter to NOT have angst, so I've got no room to talk. =D

And I think your fic very much drives the point home not to fuck (figuratively, anyway) with Vincent, which is more or less the main thread of the challenge. =P

Yeah, very true. Anything involving Hojo and/or Lucrecia has angst built in as a prerequisite. I wanted to get some humor in there, though; hope I pulled that off once more of Vincent's "accomplices" showed up ^_^

I read that, but wasn't fond of the pairing as it was played out. :)

... However, I HAVE read a couple of Bastard!Tarx/Uke!Vincent, and I wouldn't mind Vincent getting back some of his own...

.... Though I think mine will be (mostly) a battle of wits - similar to how Kitti (AKA [info]animeg) put them head-to-head in 'Turks of DOOM'.

Okay! I think I have enough time on my hands now to TRY and write something for sweet Vinny.

It doesn't have to include sex right? Because... yeah. But I DO want Vinny to get payback somehow for those traumatizing Ying-Yang (that doujin disturbed me so greatly...) but never would I be able to right it if sex had to be included... ^^;;;

Maybe I should ponder this a bit more...

Like I said, the form of vengeance Vincent settles on is entirely up to you. ^_^ So yes, Vincent can avenge himself on Yin-Yang without having to wine and dine it first. >D
