Hello to everyone... I've been watching the community since January, but have kept quiet myself. I write every evening, but am trying to get back into the habit of drawing regularly, both from life and imagination. Here are a few of the art journal bits. hey everyone-I'm moving and I am in the process of going through all of my craft stuff. I currently have lots of fabric and ribbon (curling ribbon and Bow making ribbon and maybe some fabric ribbon) either way...it's all great for embellishing pages and whatnot. Is anybody interesting in any of this? I am trying to make a little bit of money to help with gas costs due to moving. I can take pictures- Email if interested. Thanks! |

After going strong for quite a few months, I haven't written in my journal since early May. I've tried, but every time I do, my thoughts get blocked, or I get interrupted, or I just can't concentrate. Well, recently with everything that has happened between May and now, I've suddenly got the inspiration to write. I don't know what it is, but something inside of me is just saying "write. Pick up your journal and write in it again." Honestly, I've quite missed the feeling of writing in my journal, and I think I'm going to love having it back.
The only problem is trying to catch up. I would just pick up from now, and not mention anything, but big things have happened, like the passing on of my grandfather, prom, graduation, losing the trust and friendship of someone I considered close to me, etc. I'm not sure exactly how to go back, without making it confusing or a super busy entry. Any suggestions? |

I've fallen off the wagon, so to speak. I'm trying to get back into writing in my journal daily, but it's not working well. Not to sound emo, but the more crazy things that go on in my life, the less I want to write, when that's exactly what I should be doing!
Short of just writing daily again (which I'm doing, though not expansively or creatively), what do you do to jump start yourself out of a funk? Any websites you like with writing prompts? |

first time posting,long time watcher.

I feel like I'm slowly moving back to words but am not quite ready to go all the way, so now I just have all these half-ass pages coming out, ha. oh well! someday I'll get off the fence.

This is my first time posting. I am not much of an artist. I mostly am text only, but thanks to this community, I'm trying new things. Not sure how well it worked out. (Also, my first time using a lj-cut with a picture. Let me know if I did something wrong.)
