General FAQs

Q: Can I post music videos/fanvids/fanflicks in [info]dhr_soundtrack?
A: Sorry, but no -- the community is strictly audio. =) A place where you can feature your fanvids, however, is the Contra Veritas Video Mirror.

Q: A song I want to recommend has already been posted. Can I post it again?
A: Sure, but you'll have to link to the posts before yours. Refer to the UserInfo Page to learn more.

Q: I have a soundtrack/song that refers to Draco or Hermione individually, and not D/Hr as a relationship. Can I post it here?
A: Sorry, but no. [info]dhr_soundtrack is D/Hr-centric, and if we allowed character-soundtracks, the place would be flooded with them, with not enough ship-oriented tracks. Let's keep it exclusive, yeah? ;)

Q: Can I post a soundtrack with a love triangle, say D/H/Hr, or D/Hr/Blaise, etc.?
A: Love triangles/squares/pentagons/hexagons are tolerated, but not encouraged. =) We get jealous easily.

Q: Can I put up tracks in a compilation soundtrack for download individually, instead of in one huge .ZIP file?
A: Of course. How you upload your soundtrack is up to you -- however, zipping up your soundtrack into one convenient file seems to be the more popular option.
