What is Desperate Housewives?
Desperate Housewives is a TV show on ABC, created by Marc Cherry. It's a primetime soap that looks at the lives of four women in suburbia, where things are not always as they seem.

Who are the actors?
The main cast members are Teri Hatcher ("Susan Mayer"), Felicity Huffman ("Lynette Scavo"), Marcia Cross ("Bree Van De Kamp"), Eva Longoria ("Gabrielle Solis"), Nicollette Sheridan ("Edie Britt"), Steven Culp ("Rex Van De Kamp"), Ricardo Antonio Chavira ("Carlos Solis"), Mark Moses ("Paul Young"), Andrea Bowen ("Julie Mayer"), Jesse Metcalf ("John"), Cody Kasch ("Zach Young"), Brenda Strong ("Mary Alice Young"), and James Denton ("Mike Delfino"). What channel/time/day is Desperate Housewives on?
Desperate Housewives airs Sunday nights on ABC at 9 p.m. ET. This is the official time slot. However, check your local TV guide for the times/dates Desperate Housewives airs in your area.

How long has the show been on the air?
Desperate Housewives began on October 3, 2004 and finished its first season on May 22, 2005. The fourth season begins on September 30, 2007.

What's up with the "Official Episode Post"
In order to keep variations of "OMG!1!! Best episode evah!" posts to a minimum, each night that a new episode airs, a mod will post an "official episode post" in the community. That post is the only active thread allowed in the community to talk about the new episode until one full day (subject to change) has gone by.

During that time, all posts submitted to the community are moderated. You can discuss the new episode to your heart's content in the "official episode post," but any new message sent to the community that talks about the newest episode will not be allowed through until one full day (subject to change) has gone by. That time that the community is under moderation may change at the mods' discretion (e.g. moderation was held longer than two days after the first season finale aired in May, 2005)

Where can I find screencaps of the show?
There are various websites that post screencaps, including Desperate Husbands and Wisteria Lane.

Where can I download episodes?
abc.com offers free streaming downloads of Desperate Housewives and iTunes offers inexpensive downloads of the show, as well.

I missed an episode, but don't feel like waiting for reruns or downloading it. Where can I get a recap of the show?
Television Without Pity is a good website to get recaps of each episode. Ultimate Desperate Housewives is a good website to get transcripts of each episode.
