FAQ
Before this community gets underway, I want to make sure a lot of questions I KNOW will be asked are out of the way. It is against the rules to ask any of these questions in a post, so if you have any questions, MAKE SURE TO READ THESE!!

1. What is "Accidents Will Happen?
"Accidents Will Happen" is an episode in the 3rd season of Degrassi [episode number 314, before 'Take on Me' and after 'This Charming Man']. If you are a viewer of Degrassi in the United States and watch it on The N, you haven't seen this episode. Due to the content of the episode, The N will not be airing it. The content deals with Manny finding out she is pregnant (by Craig), and at the end she has an abortion.

2. When can I see "Accidents Will Happen"?
It may be aired on The N eventually, but if you want to see it now, there are multiple places to download it. Try going to the community awhdownload, or the yahoo! group TNGHO.

3. How do I take an icon?
If someone posts with icons, and gives anyone permission to use them, you right click on the icon and "save". Then, go to your livejournal and go to "Your pictures". Upload the picture [make sure it is in .jpg or .gif format and under 40k]. Make sure to credit the icon maker.

4. How do I credit?
When you upload the picture, in Your pictures, put the username of the icon maker in the "keyword" for the icon.

5. Where can I read the Degrassi "character journals"?
You can read the Degrassi character's journals at Degrassi.tv. Go to http://www.degrassi.tv and become a registered member. Once you are logged in, in your "homeroom" homepage, you will see a menu to choose different usernames from. Those are the usernames of the Degrassi members.

6. Where can I get information on the cast members?
Information for the cast members of Degrassi can be found at degrassi.tv [here], or at the-n.com [here]. Also check the memories of this community, there is an entire section dedicated to cast information.

7. Where can I download songs performed by the bands on Degrassi, or get the lyrics?
Just refer to this post. If there are songs that don't have the lyrics listed and you have them, reply to that post with them!

8. Where did you get the pictures to make the community layout?
Check the-N.com first and foremost, look around, they have them there. I have uploaded the original picture for my background here. EDIT: The new pictures in the layout can be found at degrassi.tv.

9. Where can I get information on Jake Epstein's band?
Jake Epstein's band is called Mind the Gap, and their website is here.

10. Where can I get Degrassi iron-ons, such as Craig's face in flames from "Rock & Roll High"?
All iron-ons can be found at the-n.com, here. If you have any problems with them, check out the community irnonsfrustrate.

11. Where can I find out which Degrassi characters are coming to which malls on the Mall Tour?
Check out this post for the dates of the mall tour, as well as who will be there. However, for upcoming dates, we won't know which cast members will be there until a week or 2 before it happens.

12. Where can I get good screencaps of Degrassi? *OR* Where can I find pictures of certain characters from the show?
First and foremost, check out the community memories, all screencaps are posted there. Also, check out this post to find a bunch of great links.

13. Where can I find Season 4 information?
Check the memories, and you will find this post, which is dedicated to all confirmed Sesaon 4 info.

14. Where can I get good Degrassi icons?
Check out this great community: degrassi_icons. Also, to see the many, many icons I've made, go to this section of the memories.

15. When will Degrassi be out on DVD?
Season 1 of Degrassi: The Next Generation will be released on DVD in September 2004. You can preorder it on amazon.com.

16. When is Season 4 going to begin in Canada? When will it begin in the United States? OR How long is it between episodes being aired in the US and in Canada?
Season 4 begins in Canada on Sept 7, and then will begin in the US on October 1. Generally, Canada airs the new episodes about a month before they will air in the US, sometimes, depending on how long the N goes between episodes, the US may be many months behind.

17. What is the song in the commercial for "Our House"? How about that song that is always in the beginning of the episodes from DegrassiTNGO on Yahoo?
Both songs are the same. It is called "Istanbul" by Evren. It can be downloaded here.

18. What is the song that is played at the end of "Time Stands Still" part 2?
The song is called "Rooftop" by Melissa McClelland. You can here it at http://www.orangerecordlabel.com. Another song performed by Melissa McClelland called "Jaded" is in the episode "Anywhere I Lay My Head" when Manny and Spinner are at The Dot.

19. Who is the guy wearing the glasses and why is he with the cast of Degrassi? *OR* What is Kevin Smith's affiliation with Degrassi?
He is Kevin Smith, and he is a director of such movies as Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob movies, and many more. He will be part Degrassi for the final 3 episodes of the season. The storyline is that he is filming a movie called "Jay and Silent Bob Go to Canada" and so they are filming at Degrassi, and the guy who plays Jay will be playing himself also. Kevin Smith is also trying to get Ben Affleck to be in it, since they are close friends. There is also supposed to be some Kevin Smith/Caitlin stuff going on because Kevin Smith had a crush on Caitlin in when she was in the original Degrassi.

He is a big Degrassi fan. Not only did he name a character in Clerks after Caitlin, there is a Degrassi Junior High reference in at least 2 of his movies.

20. Whatever happened to Terri?
Terri is no longer on the show. It has been insinuated on the show, the character's journals at degrassi.tv, and by the exec's posts, that after Terri recovered from being put in a coma by Rick (season 3's "Don't Dream It's Over"), her father made her go to a private school to get rid of Rick. Either way, she is no longer on the show.

21. What is the song played in "Whisper to a Scream"?
The song is called "I Don't Want to be Me" by Amanda Clemens. Remember, all music in episodes seasons 1-3 can be looked up through degrassi.tv, here.

22. Where can I get good screencaps of the episodes?
Check This post for every good link to screencaps available on the internet.

23. How do I edit my post? OR How do I delete my post?, etc. etc.
