This post has screened comments, and if you EVER feel uncomfortable AT ALL about ANYTHING, please leave a comment here so that I can read it and respond accordingly. This is meant to be a safe space for all curvygirls, size 2, 14, 26, or whatever, and I will do my best to be sure it remains so. Please don't assume that I saw what bothered you and just ignored it -- we all react differently, and what may have bothered you might not have bothered me at all. And please be very specific, with links to posts or comments if you can.

So basically, if you are ever uncomfortable about anything in this community, come and post in this post (which I will link to in the userinfo) and we will have a private conversation about it.

it wasn't the band or corpse-like face, believe me we have our share of goth-types. ;-) It's just that most of our members are uncomfortable with the idea that someone who is a member of voyeur communities (such as [info]bbwporn or [info]nekkidbbw) might see their posts. I did notice that they aren't on your friends-list -- perhaps you no longer visit the communities but neglected to officially leave them? In that case, if you left them, then I could approve you.

yeah, that bothers me too. I'm not sure how to address it though -- any ideas? I'll bring it up with the other co-mods and see what they have to say.

men are allowed, as long as they aren't in any voyeur communities and have had their journal for over 2 months and made at least 20 posts (same criteria as for women). We have about a handful of men in the comm, probably less than 20 -- I'd guess five or six. Most are photographers who see the human body as a work of art.

Thank you, but no. We are anti-rating-communities, even nice ones. 'Rating' someone's attractiveness goes against our belief that everyone is beautiful.

No, it isn't necessary to spell it out -- NWS is fine. I'll post about this in the mods comm and figure out whatever misunderstanding happened so that it won't be a problem again.
