Almost four years ago, I started this community after meeting Craig Parker at DragonCon and falling in love with him. He was beautiful, charming, and unfailingly sweet and attentive to every person I saw him speak with, and I walked away from his table saying, "I'm in love." I still love this man.
Life goes on, and I got involved with dog rescue, which took more and more of my time. Right now I have 20 dogs at my house (7 are puppies, hopefully to be adopted), with two more at my interstate exit that I haven't caught yet. I'm on the Board of Directors of the local rescue organization and volunteer whenever I can, as well as holding down a fulltime job. Needless to say, my online-fooling-around time was drastically curtailed.

I want to pay tribute to her once again for the excellent job she has done in keeping this community going and keeping it a beautiful tribute to a beautiful man. claudee has also been instrumental in giving us photos we haven't seen and keeping the posts "daily" as the community says. These two ladies and others have kept alive a daily community for a man whose photos are not splashed all over celeb magazines every week, and I know from experience how difficult that can be. Please thank the fabulous people who keep your friends list pretty.
And thank YOU, all the members, for being so nice, so sweet, so polite. This is the BEST community on LJ, and it's because of you, all of you Craig fans. I had occasion to talk with some people at DragonCon this past weekend who knew about this community, and they had nothing but high praise for both the (now) moderator and the members who post here, agreeing with me that this was the nicest community they'd seen. Thank you all, and please remember to express your gratitude to the best Mod ever, anorienparker.
