Hi! I just wanted to let you guys know that Cherry Coke is a sponsor on SocialVibe, a relatively new (I was one of the first 50 users in November last year, there are now over 26,000 users) site that allows you to promote brands you love in exchange for them donating money to a charity of your choice (there is a huge list of brands and charities to choose from - including Cherry Coke TWICE, for some reason!). You pick a charity, pick a brand, pick from art work within that brand, put a banner for the brand on your LJ/Myspace/Facebook/wherever online and you'll immediately start earning points when people visit your pages, which translate to money for charity. Also, assigned to each brand is a "perk" (for some it's extra money going to a charity, for some it is a prize) right now the perks attached to the two different Cherry Coke's listed are a Marc Jacobs Dr. Q Groovee purse (I WANT!) on one and a $100 i-tunes gift card on the other. For every X number of days (I know for the purse it's 3, not sure for the other) that you have a banner on your profiles you get an entry into the prize drawing for that perk.

I've got a question for everybody. As a kid, I've collected quite a few different Coca-Cola items. I've got a bunch of change trays/serving trays, collectible tins and a few stained glass light-up Coca-Cola houses/buildings. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in checking out an online Coke garage sale. I haven't had a lot of luck finding serious Coke collectors in the past, so I was hoping someone here might be interested. Feel free to reply for more info on my items. Thanks for your time.

First of all, let me hello, and also let me say that I absolutely freaking love Coke. I've been satisfied by no other beverage in my entire life. I've been known by my relatives as one who loves Coke so much that they buy me anything Coke related they see. It's . . . simply the greatest. :D
I don't exactly know the rules about this . . . but I was wondering if anyone here is a collector of Coke products. I've got a few Coke items that I'm trying to get rid of. I've got collectible tins, stuffed animals, glasses, a music box . . . and my most prized of these possessions are my stained-glass light-up Coke houses. They are absolutely gorgeous.
I have a few things on <a href="http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZktethepikashoe>eBay</a> right now (some are ending in a few hours). I would also be willing to arrange something privately if anyone is interested in my complete inventory of items (feel free to comment). I hope I am not breaking any rules right now . . . but I'd like to see if I could make a Coke collector happy by finding something they have been looking for. |

Has anyone had any luck trying to access the site within the past week?I've been getting syntax errors that prevent the page from fully loading,and a call to their toll-free hot line informed me that it was "a widespread issue that they were trying to pinpoint the cause of and fix immediately."I have almost 500 points so far and a ton of codes that I want to enter! ><;;;

Hi all. I just found this community tonight in an attempt to find good Coca-Cola icons here on LJ. I've made a brand-new layout for my journal this evening, and I'm going to have to make a new default icon to match it. It's gotta be all the way to be "the real thing," right? :-D

So, fellow cola imbimbers...
I was just curious which you prefer...Coca Cola out of the can, the glass bottle, the plastic bottle, or the fountain?
I personally like Coca Cola out of the can best. I feel that the aluminum really holds in the crispness that makes Coca Cola special. The best way for me is a cold coke can...no ice...just straight out of the can. Drinking out of the glass bottle is a VERY close second :)
Coke in the plastic bottles tastes ok, but tends to go flat faster...and out of the fountain, it's a total crapshoot. Sometimes the mixture is ok, and sometimes it tastes terrible.
Just curious what other cola addicts prefer and why?

Mmmm Coca-Cola!!!
My favorite right now is Black Cherry Vanilla. It reminds me to be happy. Is that strange? I just feel so happy and healthy inside when I drink that. Not necessarily as much as regular Coke. Either way! MMMM go COKE!
Also, hi to anyone who may remember me from being joined on here for atleast a year and a half? Either way.. hello to everyone!

Hey,
