Hello, Triumph! I have a 50 fire/mace tanker who's interested in trying some heroside Task Forces out. I've pretty much only done two or three of these a long time ago now (4ish years), and I'd like to see what some of them are like. I'm willing to exemplar down, too. My primary goals are to see more of the game's content and to possibly get my hands on some of the rarer/TF drop recipes. Does anyone run these on Triumph? I'm gone this weekend, but in the next week or so I could run some in the evenings or go on the weekends. Sundays are better. Hi! I played CoH quite a bit a year ago, and then quit for the fall/winter and have just picked it up again a couple of weeks ago.
I have a (freshly leveled and Portal Jockeyed) 45 mind/kinetics controller named Feverdream. I'm playing her almost exclusively right now and I try to collect more badges and get her to 50. I also have a 22 Emp Def named Justine and a handful of other smaller heroes.
Any other badge junkies out there? Maybe we can piece together an illusionist hunt in PI. Levels are not that big of an issue by the awesome power of SK... :)

Sunday March 9th, 7pm est
Galaxy City
Starting Check Point: Freedom Corps building outside near the lvl person.
Eggs will be hidden throughout Galaxy City, your goal is to find as many as you can.
No travel powers can be used that you would get after lvl 5. If you are caught you are out and any eggs you found will not credited.
When you find a egg you must invite them to a team and take them back to the starting check point to be verified. Once the egg is verifired as a actually egg in contest then you may go find another. The egg must see the finder before they accept invite, if they see you violate the travel power rule they will alert the check point and you are out of the game.
Game is over once all eggs are found. Or a time period of 2 hours lapses.
Random eggs will have instant prizes.
The prize egg will be worth 1 million influence.
The person who finds most eggs will get a Acc/Mez Hammi-O (donated by Da Fonz)
If you feel the need to cheat in a Egg Hunt in a video game then there is really nothing we can do but just remember Karma is a [censored]! And you may really want to get a life or seek professional help.
Best Egg Costume Contest after hunt is over and winners annouced, so all Egg Volunteers can have a little fun too!

Today my supergroup Ascending Dawn turns one. I am sitting here planning for our little celebration tonight and I think back to before it was concieved. The road to get here was really fun a few bumps along the way but nothing major. I have had some good members come and go and some has been with me through it all. And thinking back of all the time periods and different people I truly feel right now we are at the strongest point we have ever been. We have a really good active fun core group and then we have our casual fun players who come and go when real life lets them join us. I never would have thought when I formed this supergroup leading it would be so rewarding. I have made some good friends within the supergroup and through forming a connection with other supergroup leaders of our server. We have some really awesome supergroups on our server, a good mix of different styles for anyone out there. And I hope that everyone out there finds the one that fits them best, because being in a suprgroup adds a new dimension to the game.
So yea, just reflections from a sg leader who made it through her first year and is happy and looking forward to what the next year brings!

I ended up having to try the same mission 2-3 times to complete it, so you can see how i'd get annoyed hehe.

Figured I'd introduce myself since I just joined up and all.
My main is GreasedLightnin, a lv 30 Mutant Scrapper with Martial Arts/Reflex powers. I have a few alts, but none nearly that high-level. The ones I use the most (even though I just created them last night after the patch--whoo!) are Razor LaRusso, lv 3 Tech Scrapper with Claws/Healing and Kid Shrike, a lv 2 Natural Scrapper with Broadsword/Reflex. Yes, I'm a scrapper-kinda-guy. ^_^ My other alts are Joseph Winter (lv 14 Science Blaster w/ Energy/Ice) and Juke Box Hiro (a lv 5 Tech Controller w/ Illusions/Storm). All are on Triumph, of course.
If anyone knows of or participates in role-playing or a role-playing SG, please let me know. I've been trying to find a good one on Triumph since the Action Men disbanded. I'm willing to bring any of my alts into it with the exceptions of GreasedLightnin (who leads his own SG) and Razor LaRusso (who is already in one). I'm particularly looking for a place for Kid Shrike, as he's a pretty cool Robin-esque figure in need of a mentor.
Let me know if you have any ideas or know of anyone willing to role-play on Triumph.

DING! 50 !
Zia Frostfire hit 50 yesterday on Triumph, and the best thing was my twin brother "in game" did as well Argon Frostfire.
Our Kheldians are already made Zia Lightfire and Argon Darkfire , I'm sure by the names you can tell who picked what,.
I just want to say when we got this game in Sept we decided to use the wonder twins concept (only the twin thing not their powers) and we vowed not to out level each other. It was truly fun to do yet a little frustrating in the last few levels when real life took charge (bah he had to work way too much) and we couldnt play the toons as much. But that's what you got alts for is for the down time. We will be doing the same thing with the new Zia and Argon and we are already level 2 (heh!) feels weird being so low again.
Anyways, see you in Paragon City!

We have decided to combine this event into one location and that is Galaxy City, Freedom Crt in the rear near the Galaxy Girl statue. We want to stand united as one and have all levels present and celebrate what a great server we have together.
DAY AND TIME
this Sat April 30th, 3 to 5 pm EST
Supergroup Leaders and representatives who are coming please come 30 to 40 mins early to get your spot and setup.
EVENTS AND TIMES
3:00 PM Welcome Annoucement by Zia Frostfire
3:15 to 3:45 pm Costume and Bio Contests
There is two to pick from but you can only enter one so you decide on which is best for you.
Costume ONLY contest - Come show off your costume creations! Judging is based off Costumes only.
Prizes: 1st place 3 million, 2nd place 1.5 million, 3rd 500k
Background (Bio) Story Contest: Show off those bios that you created, there are alot of wonderful ones out there! Judging is based 60% on bio and 40% on costume and tie in with your bio.
Prizes: 1st place 5 million, 2nd place 3 million, 3rd place 1 million
Please no powers on during contests and anyone who is disruptive will be thrown out at once.
3:45pm The Freelancers Cryostat Body Hunt Atlas Park meet at Miss Liberty contact person Cold Embracer. Cryo The Debt King will die once again and we will secretly hide his body somewhere and first person to find and rez him will win.
Prize: the first person to rez Cryo will be 10 million influence
4pm COH and Comic Book Trivia (Marvel and DC comics) Emerald Fusion, Tom Trumpinski and Zia Frostfire contact people
To take part in the trivia you must join the global chat channel Triumph SG Fair. A question will be asked and the first person to answer correctly will be rewarded with a high level SO enhancement. And then it will repeat over and over until all the goodies are gone.
4:30pm Open Discussion w/ Mr Kenya and MrOmega as the mediators
Special Recognition to the SG's who were nominated for Best SGs of Triumph. And basically a time to talk about alliances, pvp, and our server in general.
4:50pm Closing Annoucement with Zia Frostfire
Throughout this time the SGs of Triumph will be stationed recruiting so you can go up and talk to any one of them that you like and possible find a SG. There are so many good ones on our server surely we can find one that fits you.
If you are already in a SG or even not interested in joining one feel free to please come out and mingle and get to know your fellow server mates.

The Paragon Taxi Service's Triumph Garage is sponsoring "The All Robot Costume Contest" which will begin at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2005. 500K influence to the winner. We're sorry but no cyborgs or androids qualify for this event. We want to see just bots, only bots, and nothing but bots!
If you maintain a community or website, please feel free to post this information. Spread the word to your in-game friends.
Taxibots are not permitted to enter however you are expected to be there to help judge and answer questions about the PTS.
DETAILS:
* 8 pm EST this Saturday under Atlas statue.
* Only robot costumes allowed to enter. You can't have an all human appearance, one robot arm and a monocle and consider yourself a robot.
* Biographies will not be required but those that have them will be judged.
* We prefer to keep this to those under Level 20 but that's not a requirement.
* No powers unless you are asked to demonstrate them! For example, anyone who continuously sets off a healing aura or bubbles will be disqualified. It gets annoying and makes it difficult to view the costumes.
* Finalists will be invited to a team & teleported to an undisclosed location for final judging and then tp'd back to the Atlas statue when it's all done to avoid chaos; this then gives opportunity for the winner to be congratulated after the prize has been awarded.
* IF more than one member of a SG enters with identical costumes, you will be judged as one entry and the winnings are for you to share amongst those members of your SG that are present. (for example: Paragon City Police Dept).

Me and Skin EattingBug gave the arena a go tonight... it was up for a solid three hours! Then... they decided to shut it off for the entire evening. *sigh* But hell! THREE HOURS! I was wondering if anyone else gave this a go today, and if so, tell us about some of your fights!
Me and Bug dualed eachother... very close match. I barely won it. Her hurricane is EVIL, as well is her tornado. Any kind of stun puts me in a bad spot too :( and well... she happens to have a stun. Anyway, it was a great battle!
Next, we moved on to team battles. I was stupid to not announce which lvls I wanted, so we ended up with some low or fricken intimidating levels. One I remember is a fight against a lvl 42 blaster and a lvl... 18 (?) rad/emp defender. While the blaster had some mean attacks on him, he was no match for my Dark Servant and my annoying petrifying gaze :P if any time they were close (or if I was close to death) I used howling twilight to make the flop around while bug did her thing with her tornado and hurricane of death. We won that match :P *dances*
Next was plain evil. We fought against a lvl 16 blaster and a... *shudder* lvl 50 blaster. Not pretty. We lost that D: though every so often, I was able to hold the lvl 50 blighter for a good time... but still. Not cool. Lots of owies.
Then we went against to scrappers. One was lvl 34, another was lvl 35. We actually did pretty well against them... but URGH! Scrappers are so annoying for me... I practically depend on those holds, and I couldnt hold them! The only time I was able to was when I use Howling Twilight on them to drop their nasty little troggles, but that was hard to do too since one kept dragon kicking me in the face >:O
After that, we decided to move on to observing... It's pretty cool because you're a floating little camera! However, people didnt seem to like us. They continously killed me and Bug. The icky part about being a camera though is that you cant talk. D:
Also, while we were watching a high lvl match, something odd happened to Bug, and her camera some how morphed her back to her normal self. She looked funny. And stiff... very stiff.
( *Stares at Bug in Confusion* )
What a kick ass day. ^_^

Hey! My friend darkerena (Skin EattingBug) told me about this just now, sooo... I joined!
I'm usually on as Zayfer on triumph... I'm also a defender. The seemingly rare Dark/Dark defender... I hardly see them ANYWHERE, and if I do, I never see them past lvl 15 or so... it makes me cry... From lvls 1-30, all I've got was hate hate and more hate... prolly because my heal animation is so slow :P though with good 'ol Fluffy (Dark Servant) on my side, teaming has become abit easier for me... though people still seem to prefer Emps D:
Ah well... me and Bug have enough fun hunting alone together :P
I play ALOT... me and Bug are always looking for some good people to team with, or simply mess around with. So... don't be shy to send a tell to either of us. :)
Also, I don't really make a big fuss about it in game (mostly because people won't believe me if I did) when people call me a he, but I'm really a she.
Aside from CoH, I like to animate ...or try to... I have a hard time keeping my eyes on one project... but uh... I did my icon! *points* Zay Zay :D I also draw stuffs, though I've been in an art block for awhile. if you're interested, you can check out my dA page:

I just realized there is a community for the triumph server..go me :D anyway, I decided I should post, see if I can meet some other people for once.
You've probably seen me running around areas before..as Skin EattingBug. I've had people remember her from Outbreak, months ago (Jan 2, 2005 :D), which is pretty impressive.
Bug finally hit lvl 30 last night, so I figured it's time to try to meet more people..now, I have no luck with this, at all. I always find the people that are stupid as hell or are "OMGSTORM *boot*". so I would love it if someone dropped me a line sometime while I'm on bug, to team or just to talk.
