I am 43 married and have 2 children. I am reading and studing God's Word and books must of the time I am not on the computer. I have even lost sleep to read or study. I like to learn and hear God talk to me when He wants me to hear Him. Right now I am reading Apocalypse Dawn by Mel Odom. It is based on the Left Behind Series. It is pretty good. It is written in the same way as left behind but definitely different situations. I am only into chapter 17 and so far it is keeping me captivated.

Hi there. I'm a newbie in this community and I love reading the Bible and spiritual books as well. It's been great just seeing the transformation that God can do when you totally put to practice what you read from his word....actually, I am writing a book that i am hoping to be published by the year 2007. The book for women and it's about 'first year' stories of their life (firt year in campus, first year as a married women, first year parenting etc) Most of the chapters will be women's true story of how they handle those first steps with God's help (Bible) and many other spiritual women in their lives. I thought about writing this book because I know for myself it's always difficult when I'm starting a new road (experience) .... and knowing other people can relate to me really helps me alot to look forward to what I can learn in this experience....
Anyhoo - let me know what you think!

Good luck!! I'm working on a novel or two . . . 2007 sounds like a reasonable goal for publication date for me, too. Thanks for the motivation.

(Note: This isn't what I look like, it's just my favourite actor.)

Hi all, I've just joined as well. The info said to post an intro here, though it looks like it's been awhile since someone has. Let me know if I'm going about this wrong.

My husband and I live in Minnesota with our dog. I'm the church librarian and I just love books. I also knit, quilt and write. Looking forward to meeting you all!
