» Donating to a great cause!
Hey all,

I am walking in the Crohn's/Colitis awareness walk this September (the 13th at Delaware Park, starting at 11am!) I am a Crohn's survivor who recently got out of major surgery less around 2 feet of intestines! I am doing this walk in order to help raise awareness and money for research! If anyone is interested in even donating $5 dollars, I would love you forever!!!! Thank you soooo much
Steph

» This could be a long shot...
This is bugging my friend and I. Back in like 2000/2001... when we lived in Porter at Buff State... we used to go to this club all the time. It was on Grant Street across from the dollar store and like, behind the Corner Store... I don't think it was open very long... and we can't remember the name of it! If anyone can remember the name, please tell me! It's on the tip of my tongue and hers too but we just can't remember it!

» Guilty Pleasure!!
So apparently Bryan Adams is playing tonight at the Town Ballroom. I have been secretly in love with him since I think I was 3, he's such a guilty pleasure of mine! Sadly, I've been out of the loop between work and school, and the show is all sold out! Anyone looking to get rid of a pair of tickets?

Sorry for the x-posting! I love him! Haha
» Graduation Tickets

So did anyone here not get their identity stolen?
» Chronic Illness anyone?
'Ello all!

I've looked into support groups and found ONE for Crohn's disease (the little bugger I deal with on a daily basis). Anyhow, I can't get outta work no matter how hard I try to attend meetings.
Plus, I know I can't be the only dork with sometype of chronic disease. SO, I'm calling out to all my fellow Crohnies, my friends with IBS, those who stick themselves with needles everyday (no not crack users but diabetics heh), dorks with MS, dorks with PMS, college kids with acne, I'm calling out to all of you! Let's get together and vent about our diseases, our meds, our frequent trips to the bathroom (oh yea...thats me!)

Ok, now that I'm done being all speech-y, anyone out there feel the need to vent about this stuff??? Maybe we could all get together and bitch!!!

Just a few questions.

Anyone had Caruana for any fine arts classes??? Good/Bad??

And, what hours is the library and/or study quad open? I thought the study quad was open all night, but last time I tried to use it, the library was locked and lights were out at 11pm.

Hey guys... I'm going to Buff State in the fall (I'll be a freshman). Anyways, I'm looking at courses (just viewing, since freshman registration doesn't start for a while but I figured I'd check it out) and I'm in the Honors program.  I know I have to take HON100 the first semester, but I want to take another HON course my first semester too, I'm just not sure which one. Based on the times, I'm debating between the Natural Sciences Seminar (HON102) and Values & Ethics in the Professions (HON301). Any feedback about these courses? Which one do you think I should hit first? Or feedback about the Honors program in general? Thanks!
» New Phoenix Theatre FREE Student night TONIGHT!
Tonight is the Free Student night for New Phoenix Theatre's play "Fool for Love". Ever been in an awkward situation while trying to leave for a date? Had your ex mysteriously show up out of the woodwork after you've moved on? A surprise run-in with your the love of your life's new partner? In this play, three people are thrown into an uncomfortable situation that we've all been in one time or another and have to figure out what to do.

Due to the sexual nature of this play 18+

The theatre is at 95 johnston park, off south elmwood one street before west chippewa. Doors open at 7:30pm.

Also, we looking for a filmographer for a few performances. In exchange, we can offer you some tickets.

» New Phoenix Theatre needs videographer
Hello,

New Phoenix Theatre needs a videographer to tape for "Fool for Love". Basically, we need someone with their own (preferably digital) video camera so we can post clips on youtube. Unfortunately, since we are a poor, experimental theatre company, we cannot afford to pay you. In exchange for your help, we can offer you some free tickets to the performance and can cover the costs of supplies if you need. This may be a good gig if you are a film student who wants to build your resume.
