Back to a default layout.

We will get around to updating the comic sometime in the future however, with both of us still completing tertiary education it's often difficult to find the free time needed to invest in a project such as Bound. Rest assured that the series has not been forgotten though and we will endeavor to continue producing it for you all.

New community layout thanks to spiralbound_lj. I thought it was about time this place came back to life so, as we patiently await new pages and a site revamp (both of which are on their way- rest assured), please feel free to post any questions/fanwork/rambling to keep the spirit of this community alive!

Hey everyone. Bound:yukionna was updated today with eight new pages - four of them kicking off a Mamoru/Toshi sidestory in color, and the other four continuing act five. I'm planning on sticking to monthly updates from this point on as well, so hopefully no more long hiatuses. The next planned update is November 5th. Feel free to leave feedback in the comments, and thanks for reading!

I haven't written a set of these in like, forever. If there's something you'd like to know about the character, feel free to ask in comments- I may well add it to the note list~

Bound: Yukionna is back online @ time-stranger.net/winterfall. A new server with far more reliable hosting. Yay.

Bound:Yukionna is currently down after my domain finally decided to die. We're in the process of moving the comic to a more reliable server. Thank you for your patience ^_^;

BOUND: Yukionna has officially been running online for 3 years this week, and the best I could come up with to celebrate was a dinky comic. As the scripter I am not at all artistic (I leave the arty-ness up to the wonderful nyonyo) but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. Read it by clicking on the following links: Page #1 / Page #2. They're very rough (I'm sick at the moment) but they're a bit of mindless fun.

Bound: Yukionna has been given a face-lift! The brand new layout features both Toshi + Rekka and should be easier to view and navigate. We've also revised the character profiles somewhat (as they were in need of revision) and added two new top images in the illustration gallery (one Toshi, the other Toshi + Rekka).

It's May 22nd, you know what day that is...? Why it's Fujiwara Rekka's birthday!

I've been too busy working on papers for university so I haven't prepared any special treats to celebrate, but I fully intend to do *something* as soon as I get a break.

In any case, Happy Birthday to our heroine~!

Just letting you all know that the Bound: Yukionna homepage and the comic itself are back online. My domain had a critical and unforeseen hosting problem that kept it rather dead and unavailable for two months, but now everything is pretty much back to how it was before the downtime.

Did you know the original concept for 'Bound' was first written 5 years ago? I pieced parts down in February of 2000 before going on an exchange trip to Japan and experiencing first-hand, some rather eerie snow-topped mountains in Aomori (that happened to have their own Yuki-onna). That trip helped with inspiration like whoah. The comic as it stands now was a joint evolution of ideas between both Meimi and myself and while we're dividing our time between our studies and the comic at the present, we're looking forward to bringing you lots of new content in the future!

A belated happy 2005 to you all and a huge welcome to all new members/watchers! Bound: Yukionna has been rather quiet over recent months (suggestion: blame a rather unforgiving 2004 for both Meimi & I) however work on the rest of Chapter 5 is continuing at full speed so we'll have a page update ready very soon.

To keep you from strangling us out of frustration I've drawn a sparkly new Bound comic strip for your viewing pleasure. Note that I'm NOT the artist in this partnership so the strip is fugly, but y'know, it was fun and if you enjoy it there may be more. I'm looking at addressing random things about Bound that people question and are interested in via these little comic strips- if there's something specific you'd like me to tackle in a strip, I'm happy to give it a go (read: comment with suggestions/feedback).

It's late, I'm rambling, I'll just get on with the point of this post shall I?

What would you all say to a fanart competition? nyonyo and I have considered one in the past, but I suppose we'd only go ahead with it if there was some interest in the idea. Comment, tell me what you think~!

As for actual updates, none at this stage. I'm going to return to Australia from my six months in New Zealand this week but I probably won't have internet access until late February/early March (when I return to University). Which makes getting text to nyonyo difficult. Speaking of my beloved partner in crime, nyonyo has had a tough semester at college but just as I'm hoping to straighten out my schedule to allow for more Bound-related work in the future, she's doing about the same.

And so I finally get to Rekka's notes. Forgive the lateness of these, I'm currently trying to meet a rather important work deadline. Anyway, if you'd like to ask further questions or leave some feedback, feel free to comment- I'd love to hear what you think.

Bound has been updated with a new layout of Toshi, and the first six pages of act five. All of them are in full color. Check it out, and feel free to leave feedback in the comments!!

I couldn't stop at Mamoru, I had to continue on with Toshi too. I've got Rekka's awaiting editing as well. Aren't I just a busy little bee?

I've received a lot of correspondence begging for more details on Mamoru over the past two years. It has always struck me as odd the number of fans our lead male has, but if nothing else I am obliging! Underneath the cut are some snippets of information about a certain foot-winged demigod, many of which answer questions I've been asked since Bound: Yukionna's creation.

If you have any further questions, feel free to leave a comment and I might add them to the Author Notes. You never know. I actually sketched a picture to go with this data but our scanner isn't working so, erm, no badly-drawn author illustration for now but we'll see what can be done in the future.

Anyway, enough of my rambling!

Hello! I'm Israfel and I started reading BOUND not a long time ago. I'm not too fond of webcomics; that's why I didn't read before while I know Shiori's domain and sites for a while. But I gave BOUND a chance and I'm not disappointed! The story is promising and I like both Rekka and Mai. It reminds me KKJ in a way *^^*

I've noticed several new members join the community recently and while we've been kind of reserving the community for updates maybe some social interaction wouldn't be all bad~!

So, please feel free to introduce yourselves! Where are you from? Interests? Tell us how you happened to find Bound, which characters appeal to you etc. Any questions for either Meimi or myself are also welcomed.
