Sign up and write! Even a drabble. The rules are very lax, so if you want to write het stuff or threesomes, that's fine. I just want to see how many obscure Shatner characters we can actually scrape up fanfic about. And some of them are more slashable than others--after all, he did play Alexander! ~_^
It would also amuse me greatly if there was fanfic slashing two (or more... oh dear) Shat characters together. And other kinds of crossover (Donfield/McCoy, anyone? Heehh) are also welcome.

| For those paying attention, it appears that the "slashy" scene of
Denny Crane (Shatner) and Alan Shore (Spader) waking up in bed
together without knowing how they got there is NOT a hoax, according
to co-star Rene Auberjonois (hahah, yes, it's Odo.) It's there; it's
just played for laughs and probably isn't as slashy as Spader made it
sound in that Conan O'Brien interview.
I've got this on the word of odosgirl, who just asked Rene at
a con, btw.
You know, I can't believe the shitstorm over on williamshatner.com
when Spader first made that announcement. I never for a moment
believed the snippet would be in there meant to be taken
*seriously*!!! I always thought it would be a fantasy or a joke or
something, but the way those people were ranting and raving about
"Well, Bill's not gay so why does it matter?" and "ABC's trying to
sabotage the show OMG!!!"... oy.
I swear, who takes BOSTON LEGAL *that* seriously?? Most of the

Thanks to watergal for providing me with this gem. Basically, someone made a music video to Shatner's laughably bad "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" recording, complete with Spock, Lucille Ball, and endless amusing references to bisexuality. And technicolor!! Lots of zany technicolor!!!!
It must be my lucky day. (Then why isn't it raining alpaca fur?)

JAMES SPADER has developed a closer working relationship with BOSTON LEGAL co-star WILLIAM SHATNER - after sleeping with him.
The two actors have just filmed a scene, in which they sleep together, for the upcoming season of the legal drama series - and Spader reveals that he and his castmate have struck up a close friendship after the pseudo-romantic interlude.
He says, "(It's a) very graphic, explicit, loving scene. Bill and I (are) spooning, wrapped around each other in bed.
"After we finished the scene, he sort of was dealing with me in a very different way than he had before... and he spoke in a different tone, a sort of closer tone - pillow talk.
"He mentioned that how interesting it was that it's rare that, except with the person that you're having sex with or a parent, you're never really that close to someone or that intimate, where you're that close, where you really get to smell their smells.
"We were doing a scene when we were right in there for a while."
And Spader admits his castmate has a very distinctive odour.
He explains, "You can tell a lot about a person by that first impression, that first smell. I noticed we've had a lot of new people start watching the group, and I just wanted to start some conversation and find out who's here, why they like Shatner, why they like his tummy, etc.
As for me... as awesome as Denny Crane is, I find myself drawn to Bill Baxter from 'Big Bad Mama' just because he's such a cute little puppy-dog. All he wants to do is make love to the leading lady, not go robbing oil refineries and stuff. True, he tried to con her in the beginning, but once he figured out that someone else was earning the money and feeding him, he really didn't give a shit. Like I said, a puppy.
