| Let's Talk: The Great Audiography Mix Trade II |

Tell us about the mixes that you got, if you've got any positive/negative remarks, criticisms, share it with us. If you've got a favorite couple of songs, post it (just please, same as usual, provide us a link). You don't have to make a new post per mix that you'll discuss, you can talk about all three in just one post. The discussion topic goes on for the next few weeks (I'll be reposting this again next week, for those who might miss it) so that means you still have time to listen to your mixes and/or wait for those mixes that got delayed because of the holiday rush.
I hope you guys had fun this round as much as I did and that more people participate next time.

Ugh. It's 5AM, folks and I've finished checking and re-checking the list of mixees and mixers from the information I got from these two GAMT2.0 posts [1, 2]. I'm a bit groggy so if I made the mistake of listing you here, don't hunt me down with a bolo, please. So far...
Kids, we got a couple or so comments telling us that one or more of your mixees haven't received anything from you yet nor have we found evidence that you actually did send out mixes. Please get in touch with me and your mixees ASAP. If you've been busy with the holidays and all that, or if your burner conked out, it's not too late, you can still mail the mix CDs but just please send us word.

If your name is on any of the two lists, kindly get in touch with me and your mixees ASAP and update us with the status of your mixes. If you are the mixees of any of these people, kindly confirm if you have received/not received a mix CD from them. (Also, no, I'm not putting this behind a cut even though I know I'm always fussing about your long posts.)

Also, we're welcoming cio into the community maintainter roster. If you want to know more about him, check out this ( mini interview. )
- Quality over quantity, kids.
- State your reason for choosing each song. Everyone here likes details.
- Make sure the theme is pasted on the subject of your post.
- Themes are non-restricting.

Hey guys. Just checking up on your mixes. I've recieved just two out of the three mixes I'm expecting. How about you guys? Please post the names of the mixers you've recieved mixes from and not recieved mixes from so that we know what's going on. Thanks.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
if you haven't heard from a mixer yet, CONTACT THEM. If you sent out all your mixes and have not heard word from your mixees about them yet, CONTACT THEM. If you need their email addresses, CONTACT ME. Then report back to this thread. Let's try to keep things in order. I'm gonna be keeping a checklist, starting today of those who sent mixes and those who didn't.
NOW, if for some reason you HAVEN'T sent out your mixes still, it's not too late. PLEASE MAIL THEM ASAP. Better late than never.
We're doing a Let's Talk Discussion on the mixes towards the end of next week, so I hope you get to listen to your mixes and tell us about them by then. |

| GAMT 2.0 Update |

Hey guys. Just posting to check up on your mixes. So far I'm hoping that some of you have already gotten at least a mix or two already. So far, I've recieved 2 out of the 3 official mix trade CDs that I'm supposed to be recieving (plus I also got the extra one that I made arrangements for with another mixer, as well as a surprise from my past mixer who was nice enough to send me an extra copy of his mix this round).
Guys, if there are/were some delays in your sending out the mixes please email your mixees and let them know!
Any good or bad news so far? Let's hear them.

Ok guys. *big exhale*
I'm sorry for any delays with answering your emails (if I answered them at all, I feel like I missed a couple of people's emails so please if you're one of those people who I haven't replied to yet, email me again or reply to this post). My internet connection was down all weekend and it has been a great bloody pain in the ass.
A few reminders:
- Make yourselves available for contacting. I've had to answer about 400 gazillion emails this past week from mixers asking for their mixees' contact details because they have no email posted on their info, no public entry for commenting or have not replied.
- Email your mixees, goddammit.
- Reply to your mixers, goddammit.
- If your mixers haven't contacted you yet, take the initiative to contact them.
- We are extending the deadline for mailing the mix CD to December 12 (Monday).
- Please make sure to pack your CDs properly. Make sure it's in a jewel case/sturdy jacket and that the envelope you put it in is lined with foam or bubble wrap.
