I worked late and took the metro (light rail) home. I live in the DC Area by the by. When I arrived at my final station around midnight tonight, I saw some real young looking girls wearing D'espairs Ray hoodies. What the hell was going on tonight?

Favorite Anime Link: www.gaiaonline.com  No joke it's like a second home to me with all the otaku there and all. But recently they've had some events with MTV. Quests about about 'The Hill' I think it's some teen show on T.V. Don't know, don't watch it.

Other: I'm a future mangaka that above all else has to learn japanese and korean so theta I can one day live my dream as the best mangaka in the world!! (yeah, I now it sounds animeish. Well that'sehat you get when ur mind's filled with the stuff) My other dream was to be the supreme dictaorof the universe and take over after my sis 'accidentally' dies as the universal president but that didn't sound too good on my 'What I wan to be when I grow up' sheet the teacher gave me.

Favorite Live Action/Asian Cinema: First has to be nobuta wo produce. I wtch that a while ago some time during the summer last year and I still can't top thinking about it!! then orasama because it has miyavi in it, although I couldn't understand a word I can't get enough of it!

Short Story of an Experience: All of my friends are either white, spanish, or asian! I have only no black friends that like anime or jrock! Here they're all really into rap (not that that's bad. I listen to j+k artists rap) and all that. My life revolves around Anime, manga, yaoi, writing ,jrock//VK and drawing so I tend to be more closer to people who are also like that.

What brings you to AALike?: I as searching for a VK comm to join and I saw this comm. The fact that it's als a black comm made me want to join it even more =3.

I would love to have a jrock-ish hair style as seen in this profile http://www.myspace.com/dahvie but I don't want to cut my hair. Does anyone know of sites where I can get wigs like that or is there a way to edit wigs to mimic those hairstyles? Thanks

Also, it looks like if you register before August 31 you get a $10 discount on entrance into SGMS. Do it if you can, it's worth the $10 savings. The thing is, because it's a conferance/workshop at a huge art college, it's a bit expensive. They fly in academics from around the world as well as amazing artists to teach you manga art. We had Udonone year! This year is Tania Del Rio (of Sabrina the Teenage Witch). She's very nice. The artist from our convention went to college with her, so they go way back. Also, Jeremy Rossfrom Tokyopop usually does a portfolio review and because the group is usually under $100 people, you can spend the whole weekend with the guests. Crispin Freeman is coming again this year and he's just about the biggest sweetheart ever. The lady who used to run the fashion show with me is a professor of fashion at University of Indiana. I always call her the Doctor of Fashion since she actually has a doctorate. Heh :) Anyway, there are usually good fashion talks as well as the fashion show on Friday.

Other: I got into anime first then K-Pop with DBSK and Super Junior then somehow crossed to J-Pop where I fell in love with making fun of JE Boys and their random. I'm absolutely in love with Matsumoto Jun of Arashi and Oguri Shun. Love watching Japanese dramas and will stalk before mentioned men into any drama that they appear in. Narimiya Hiroki is also a fav of mine.
